  1. so, AJ Hawk has a bruised knee?
  2. I think you need a new friend
  3. for me, the key on the Bears D will be the interior lineman. Peppers and Idonije will get pressure by pushing the tackles back, but the Bears need Tommie/Toenia (sp?) and company to force the pocket. The sacks will happen inside. I just dont see the Packers having a big day running the ball against this D. The Bears offense needs to run the ball whether or not they get behind. I dont buy the idea that they HAVE to score first, they just cant get down by 14+ points early. If GB takes a quick 7-0 lead, and the Bears respond with 3 to make it 7-3, its game on. An outside-the-tackle run by Forte could easily score a 50 yrd TD
  4. my gut feeling tells me Bears 24 Packers 20 Jets 17 Steelers 27 also, why did airlines ever allow smoking on board?
  5. what does this even mean? that Eli should move to The Land Down Under
  6. is that a little hitler patch or does he have herpes?
  7. soo [expletive] creepy
  8. did you bump your head?
  9. THE BEARS ARE LUCKY.
  10. This game is so even to me, I just dont know what to think. Granted, it of course could flop to a one sided game, I just dont feel that it will. I've been really happy with the Bears this season. When they had the opportunity to win the NFC North in Minnesota, the destroyed the Vikings. They beat really good teams such as Philadelphia, GB, NY Jets. They have steadily gotten better through the year on offense, and the O-line is the biggest reason. Forte looks like a legitimate RB again. We won a playoff game easily. Its been a successful season. Having said that, I DO NOT want to lose to the Packers at home in the NFC Champ. Losing wouldn't make this an unsuccessful season, but I would feel like we've let a huge opportunity slip by.
  11. I didnt realize Atlanta was like that.
  12. I'm typing this response from mine. (not really)
  13. I suspect it's because Milwaukee probably has a fair number of Bears fans, but still... Seattle probably also has a much higher percentage of the population that don't give a crap about sports. Seattle/Tac is a big "transplant" metro area as well, meaning there are an awful lot of people who live here who didn't grow up here. Those people (such as myself) are bound to be fans of other teams. in contrast, who the hell would ever want to move to Milwaukee?
  14. oh, you know. i felt that if we were going to make [expletive] up (like your post about matthews) then why not throw a Robbie Gould post in too.
  15. http://www.opengardensblog.futuretext.com/wp-content/uploads/misc/sith.JPG
  16. I found it really hard to watch Gould tank those FG's the second game. when gb had EVERYTHING to play for.
  17. Yeah...really guys...the Packers have had such little fanfare all season really.... this could just as easily been said about the Jets and made as much sense
  18. noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo f-Fox
  19. I guess we're even
  20. its Brett Favre, he can't decide if he wants to retire for crying out loud
  21. delete your post immediately bukie
  22. Nothing will happen. Even if they replace the sod, it won't take by Sunday. They played on a sheet of ice in Minnesota...they'll play on some bad grass in Chicago. That's just the Green Bay press whining. Unlike the Chicago press, the Packers beat writers aren't fans of the team. Objective journalism. Who knew such a thing existed? huh? have you read much of the Chicago sports press coverage this year? its as snarky towards the Bears as it has been glowing.
