  1. Can't I make fun of both schools from my ivory tower? HIGH FIVE!
  2. does not compute
  3. Probably to your mom's house if the line isn't too long. Well I had sex with your wife. TRUFFLE?
  4. well, its hard not to be loyal to it when you OWN it
  5. Pretty much, yes. You don't spend 1st round picks on guys who might be okay guards. At the time it didn't seem bad. But we heard about pre-existing back problems, and he's been a terrible 1st round pick so far. Angelo has a history of sucking at the offensive line, both with Tampa and the Bears. He's yet to draft even one good starter in a decade at the job in Chicago. It would be one thing if he spent a lot of 2nd/3rd/4th round picks while adding depth, but the guy either spends a 1st round pick (2 busts and a don't know yet) or a 6th, ignoring everybody else. It's like Hendry with the outfield situation for years. They were desperate to fill it so they had to get Soriano, and the Bears have been desperate to fill the line so they've had to spend insane money on Pace plus 2 recent 1st round picks. Very poor management of the group. I totally get questioning Angelo on his management of the group, especially not drafting them with regularity and in different levels (both in respect to drafted rounds and expectant talent). But implying his 1st rd picks are garbage whenever he pulls the trigger is a bit misleading.
  6. I don't think anybody here had a problem with the legality of the hits on Cutler, merely the frequency. however, the hit on Bennett was certainly questionable.the hit/flag on Cutler just looked like a make-up call, if there are such things
  7. That's "everything" you could have done? Maybe last year. But the dolt conveniently glosses over the fact that he ignored the 5 MAN POSITION GROUP for half a decade in the draft. It's 5 positions you have to fill. Occasionally spending an early pick on it isn't going to cut it. They have to overcompensate just to get back to a normal level of attention. It also doesn't help when your most recent 1st round OL pick comes in pre-injured and sucks. Carimi? I thought he had that injury in the past, not that they drafted him with the injury. Chris Williams. oh, that "most recent". I get it. he may have sucked as a LT, but he seems to be fine at guard. idk, if he continues to improve, in the grand scheme of things, was that such a bad pick?

  9. I have SUCH a hard time giving Angelo any credit for trying to right the ship when he has been so wrong int he past. While its true he tried to do a lot for the o-line this year, hes been so shortsighted in the past I just want to pile on him for the overall failure, including what he didn't accomplish this year. And he still had cap space, he truly could have BOUGHT an o-lineman if he wanted to.
  10. Mia, we lost. Pretty sure. Jason Taylor killed Grossman several times that game. and in reality, I'm completey wrong http://sports.webshots.com/album/556193396JJDbTt

  12. what the hell did you expect, its nsbb. Christ, I managed to derail the TV thread with a comment about girls with glasses.
  13. dropping f-bombs is not what I would call behavior acceptable from a mod
  14. so what. its honestly true. I'm pretty sure he couldnt survive.
  15. Nate Silver is a god and his word is gospel. maybe there is a better way/approach, but I sure don't see anyone providing one.
  16. this, and with everything unresolved (from OU-UT perspective), it probably felt as if the timing wasn't right
  17. isn't this why McMahon when there? he grew up Catholic, wanted to play for Notre Dame but they had Montana and told him he would be a back-up. Of course, McMahon being McMahon, his response was screw you, I'll go to BYU, the Mormon school is that the kind of school you really want int he Big 12????????? the kind of school the likes of Jim McMahon use to spite his own religion??? i really mean nothing by this... I thought McMahon went there for Lavell Edwards. He was less than pleased to be a Catholic kid at a Mormon university. I like my story better.
  18. probably because they dont exist.

  20. ahhh,, the SEC just got their new doormat/punching bag
  21. no kidding. Butter's team has one good year and suddenly he's on par with Texas. and when Minnesota wins the Rose Bowl you can all bow to my greatness
  22. It'd be great if OU and Texas hang out and things settle a bit. But that's probably not enough to keep Missouri happy if the bigx or sec come calling. I feel like a declaration that big/dramatic/preposterous by Oklahoma kind of tips their hand towards the Pac-12. They've got to be gone at this point. How you doin? we got LOOOTS of $$ to spread around.. - Mr Delany
  23. why so down on ND?
  24. YES! I LOVE THE PUMPKINS!!!!
  25. you leave the Bulldogs alone, hippie UMD UMD UMD
