I read that opposite, since Kansas had a stronger fan base they would be the favorites. The only thing running contrary to that was Rutgers strong showing in NYC itself. But I really didnt read any conclusion by Silver, did I miss it? In what way did you read that Kansas had a stronger fan base than Rutgers? ah...I confused Missouri with Kansas. I meant Mizzou. Same difference really. mizzou/kansas... nvm

Another rumor that they're eyeballing Tech. Or maybe they prefer MU to WVU, which makes sense to me. I think that's why TT doesn't like it. I'd blow a homeless man to get into the SEC right now. As long as we're in a real conference, I'll be happy. See Minnesota - things are looking up for you already. idk, beards weird me out.

more then anything, it seems to explain the false starts. the edge rushers were at least partially due to Davis (TE) not picking them up tho. -
I don't know. I graduated from a Big Ten school and technically am a drop-out and homeless. I am typing this from the local library with the help of a 2nd grader.

Hit a little close to home, did I? Coming from another Big Ten alum. Where's OMC or Vance? Let's compare academic stats with those goofball southern schools. ? Ole Miss doesnt count, duh. thats one of those goofy clown schools, where you either learn 1. law or 2. piling as many people into a mini cooper as possible.

I still think it's all being driven by football media revenue. I don't know how the teams could come up with their own tourney and keep all these other schools out. maybe the Big Ten teams will just drop out like most of their alumni. Hit a little close to home, did I? its just that every time I see a homeless man, I think "there lies another tragic University of Indiana failure.." we're just not equipped socially to land in those posh places like Grand Rapids.

We're not, I'm just pissed my school has become such an afterthought. Haha. No one's thought of IU since bobby choked that kid. thats not really true. I mean, no one thought of IU prior to that either. That event was perhaps only the second time since the 1970's that anyone thought of IU. I'm not sure what the other event was.

In total numbers? There are also exponentially more big ten alums out there bc the schools are massive (and alumnus also includes former students who don't graduate, which gives big ten schools another several hundred thousand). painting Big Ten alumns as drop-out failures is hurting my feelings, Richard. Its sooo unkind. It's not that they're all drop out failures. But if you're making an argument based on total alumni base and you're starting with numbers as skewed as ACC v big ten, I assume you're going the extra step of including people that attended those schools but didn't graduate. just say it, you have no respect for me since I live on the west side of puget sound. you've already assumed the Seattle aire-of authority.

Yeah, the rumor/expectation is that um and maybe msu will drop ND entirely. I don't much care one way or the other. I like playing those schools usually but opening up those 2-3 September dates would make scheduling other quality teams infinitely easier. The big ten's insistence on playing ND in September has made it harder to play schools that will come to ND, but not when it's cold (SEC teams, primarily). but by joining the big ten and scheduling pn st, os and Michigan in November/Oct, doesn't that open up September up for those supposed wanton SEC team?
