  14. Hester or some guy with a good 40 time we draft in the 4th or 5th round can stretch the field. The Bears need more receivers that can get open quickly and actually catch a pass. If Floyd is there, I think the Bears have to take him. Well the issue is a 4th rounder with a good 40 time is only going to be able to stretch the field. Getting a guy like Wright, Hill or Randle in the first, means you get a WR with pretty good potential than can ALSO stretch the field. I just think Floyd is head and shoulders above those guys. Hill strikes me as another Ashley Lelie. He is, but best case scenario for Floyd is to be a WR just like Brandon Marshall. Do the Bears really want that? Granted, having 2 really good WRs is never a bad thing, but when their strengths are the same it may not be maximizing the potential of your roster. Yes they want *and need* 2 really good wr's. And I'd argue Floyd is not a cc of Marshall
  15. Angelo's track record with "characters" really is amazing. Johnson, Hurd, Benson....
  16. Does anyone have a picture of these throwbacks? They're awesome. http://c-product.images.fansedge.com/46-23/46-23959-Y.jpg I have a Hester one, myself. I ordered one of these around x-mas (Cutler) and got a free alumni jersey (a small Olsen away jersey).
  17. I think you're all nuts and should be shipped to the gulags for your comments. Especially you lo Pan
  18. One of my old bosses in MPLS went to Arkansas. Not a bad choice. Besides, it's the home of Fay Jones, so there is that. Best of luck. ETA: I mean, how can you not appreciate this: http://www.lifeofanarchitect.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Fay-Jones-Thorncrown-Chapel.jpg
  19. It feels like you've been college for at least 8 years. Hahaha took a year off after graduation to travel and annoy SSR (apparently), then sadly I chose to go to law school. You're not the only one who's still in school or went to school for a long time. Went to college, lost my hearing and got cochlear implants so I took 2 years off, then back to school. Got my computer graphic design degree. Took a year working with my dad and trying to find a job (when it was REALLY bad economy). I decided to go to architecture school, then my dad had 2 heart attacks in the past year so now I'm back helping with my dad's construction business. I still got 4 years left in architecture school whenever I go back. I graduated high school in '03. Anyway... I can't wait for the draft next week. I like the Geno Hayes signing just have some LB depth and he can compete with Roach. What arch schools are you looking at? 5 yr Barch or March?
  20. Looking at the roster, the Bears bring back every starter who started most of last year, other than Brandon Marshall replacing Roy Williams. So, there's no position where the Bears definitely need a starter, though it would be wise to get a couple (#2 WR, OL, SLB). If you look at the Bears depth right now, the only positions where the Bears aren't 4 deep with capable players are DT, OT, and maybe LB and Safety. This is not counting QB and RB where 4 capable players is unnecessary. I'm starting to think DT may be the pick really early. Hearing rumors that the Bears really like Brockers in the 1st if he's there at 19. I know they love Fletcher Cox, but he won't be there. Yeah, the Brockers rumors are pretty interesting. Ugggh. The only thing Emery hasn't done this offseason that I hate: not resigning Okoye. Now we need 2 DL. Brockers looks the part, but it seems to me we really could have avoided the need
  21. I'm not even too sure who we should draft, but a CB or G would make a lot of sense
