  1. I've been having this thought that the only reason the Bears interviewed 20 people is to create a smoke screen to hide the fact that they were doing something not all that kosher. As matter of stradegy, baffle the public with the circus .....and then the Armstrong thing pops up
  2. Sabres weird goal https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/buffalo-sabres-first-team-score-goal-with-no-shots-20-minute-period
  3. Occams razor in effect here: they have no idea what they are doing
  4. yea, I dont think I realized it was a deep draft for RBs
  5. Fine. Trade him for something useful like a bag of kicking tees
  6. All true. Add to it, if you coukd use your RB to actually run a route tree instead of just being the dump off, why would t you? And which of Swift or Jeanty would you prefer in that situation?
  7. I’d imagine being the HC of a SB winning team would be the most fun
  8. Every single coordinator in the nfl would take a shot at being HC at least once. If they end up being good at it, they thrive off that attention. Ask Belichek or Lovie if he’d rather go back to being a DC, they’d say no. The ones who do look forward to going back to coordinating duties are the ones who have no success at HC hell, even Nagy would likely grab a HC position if he could
  9. Disagree. You could use Jeanty in the passing game. Plus I’m kinda done with Swift, he’s a “pitch it to the outside or bust” back. Jeanty has shown the ability to do it all
  10. The pure ego draw of being an NFL HC would push nearly everyone to feel differently
  11. Yes. That sounds like a Trestman level overguess
  12. I’ll admit, if the bears drafted Jeanty and went OL:OL or OL:DL with their 2nds I might be ok with it. The biggest reason is that Jeanty not only is a stud RB, but also a weapon in the passing game. Tomlinson is the name he gets compared to
  13. A competent organization would NEVER interview 19 candidates because they would have an idea of where and how they wanted to build their team, instead, moronic teams interview 19 because they literally have NO IDEA what to do they have a legit QB and they can’t figure out how to build a team around him
  14. also true: the packers suck in general win:win
  15. lol Love sucks
  16. ANOTHER packer down! its almost as if they know they know they suck
  17. Iggles beginning to make it clear who the better team is
  18. hopefully like a cat, playing with its food
  19. they are interviewing 19 candidates..I'm not sure that is "honing in" on anything. seems just the opposite
  20. looking for "value" when you have $103 million in cap space is being cheap
  21. I see them overspending for mediocre players (Davis for example) and not spending market value for marquee players (McGlinchey for example). Thats being cheap. Its likely a result of a scared GM, but its being cheap.
  22. maybe I cant let go of the old school "throws nickles around like they are manhole covers" concept honed by GH
  23. it could mean a different things, for sure. But they've had holes on the Oline for 3 seasons now and have yet to spend anything on a decent tackle or guard, Nate Davis was the exception and he was a poor decision. Same for DL really. Sweat is paid well but other than that its been low marquee aquistions like walker
  24. theyve been well below the cap for 2 seasons. they're cheap
  25. cheapness hasnt been an issue of late? where have you been
