  1. as my dad would say, " fu*k em"
  2. Maybe he took some shrooms and they started kicking in making him think he was running through a field of lavender holding hands with his bae (or beau)
  3. They pretty much signed him the first reasonable day to do so id day they did fine
  4. Raw was right; the Tomlin and McVey trade proposals were more a smoke screen to tell Ben “we’ll pay anything for the right coach” hopefully Ben is the right coach!
  5. According to reports, Poles wanted to move on from Eberflus but wasn’t allowed to. That seems plausible
  6. It’s hit the mainstream https://sports.yahoo.com/bears-reportedly-finalizing-deal-to-hire-lions-offensive-coordinator-ben-johnson-as-head-coach-203542792.html
  7. Agreed. And I haaate trading away picks
  8. ask the 2024 Bears if coaching matters I'm not sure if Tomlin is worth whatever the Bears were willing to trade, but good coaches are worth whatever they get paid
  9. and thats great as long as they get the best HC
  10. I've been having this thought that the only reason the Bears interviewed 20 people is to create a smoke screen to hide the fact that they were doing something not all that kosher. As matter of stradegy, baffle the public with the circus .....and then the Armstrong thing pops up
  11. Sabres weird goal https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/buffalo-sabres-first-team-score-goal-with-no-shots-20-minute-period
  12. Occams razor in effect here: they have no idea what they are doing
  13. yea, I dont think I realized it was a deep draft for RBs
  14. Fine. Trade him for something useful like a bag of kicking tees
  15. All true. Add to it, if you coukd use your RB to actually run a route tree instead of just being the dump off, why would t you? And which of Swift or Jeanty would you prefer in that situation?
  16. I’d imagine being the HC of a SB winning team would be the most fun
  17. Every single coordinator in the nfl would take a shot at being HC at least once. If they end up being good at it, they thrive off that attention. Ask Belichek or Lovie if he’d rather go back to being a DC, they’d say no. The ones who do look forward to going back to coordinating duties are the ones who have no success at HC hell, even Nagy would likely grab a HC position if he could
  18. Disagree. You could use Jeanty in the passing game. Plus I’m kinda done with Swift, he’s a “pitch it to the outside or bust” back. Jeanty has shown the ability to do it all
  19. The pure ego draw of being an NFL HC would push nearly everyone to feel differently
  20. Yes. That sounds like a Trestman level overguess
  21. I’ll admit, if the bears drafted Jeanty and went OL:OL or OL:DL with their 2nds I might be ok with it. The biggest reason is that Jeanty not only is a stud RB, but also a weapon in the passing game. Tomlinson is the name he gets compared to
  22. A competent organization would NEVER interview 19 candidates because they would have an idea of where and how they wanted to build their team, instead, moronic teams interview 19 because they literally have NO IDEA what to do they have a legit QB and they can’t figure out how to build a team around him
  23. also true: the packers suck in general win:win
