  1. He just ran a 4.68. He's going to drop like a rock. Eesh
  2. I thought Tabor graded out 1-2 Rd? How would you get him, Mitch and Engram?
  3. Not sure what you mean? Glennon is a guy the Bears would be using as a stopgap starter anyway.....QB is obviously still a longterm need, but its not do or die to take one at 3 this year. Or am I just not understanding what you're saying? Signing a unproven stopgap is stupid
  4. Glennon, Gilmore and Wagner, not sure how I feel about 2 of the 3 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/report-bears-interested-in-three-big-ticket-free-agents-including-one-quarterback/
  5. TOOOOMfoolery
  6. Whachu talking bout Willis
  7. If the Browns take Turbisky, would Garrett fall? It seams SF would jump on him, but could you imagine a world where we draft him?
  8. I would interpret that to mean, they aren't quite sure when they'll waive him. I took it as "....we've got offers from 3 teams that range from a juggs machine to a bowl-of-noodles-a-day club gift card, so we're trying to see just how much msg is in that horsefeathers"
  9. Not sure alshon leaving is a fact. It's like a 90% probability, but yea whatev
  10. I read the article right before I saw alshon story. It's a rehash of stuff we've seen all winter. I'm not a jimmy g trade fan. I'd hate to give up any first as well as any 2018 pick. Good teams collect future picks, not trade them away. Yup
  11. Minnesota will be in the sweet 16, you've heard it here first
  12. They have the cap space and should use it but they could theoretically make better use of it by spending on several players instead of spending $14m/year on Alshon. The determination for whether or not Pace is dumb has nothing to do with the Alshon franchise tag usage or lack thereof. It's not stupid to not tag him, and it's not even stupid to decide not to spend $14m/year on him in a longterm deal. The question is what else he'd do with the money. not resigning Alshon during the season was stupid. And your theory about what to do with the extra money is all fine, but who will Pace get? Berry? Bouye? Johnson? I doubt he gets any of them, and there is still the elephant in the room: KEVIN WHITE IS A BUST.
  13. I don't understand why he hasn't been resigned at this point, avoiding the franchise tag issue all together. But letting a #1 walk at 27 years old is stupid. They aren't going to resign him at this point Well when he passed last years deadline for an extension, he was almost certainly always going to test FA. Is there a report that actually states hes not expected to resign? I suppose this could work out for Pace. Alshon goes out to the free market, gets low-balled, crawls back to Halas Hall and resigns. But when was the last time (if ever) has that happened with any top FA and their respective team?
  14. I don't understand why he hasn't been resigned at this point, avoiding the franchise tag issue all together. But letting a #1 walk at 27 years old is stupid. They aren't going to resign him at this point in the world of salary cap sports, it might not make sense to pay Alshon top WR money, assuming that is what he wants. To date he hasn't had the career of a guy worth top WR money. The problem is not having much to replace him. The Bears are top 5 in cap space. if there is a team with a need for a #1- #1a WR AND the money to do it, its Chicago. And not having a replacement just compounds the issue.
  15. maybe maybe not But if you're coming to that conclusion based on the fact that they won't franchise tag Alshon, I think that is misguided. I don't understand why he hasn't been resigned at this point, avoiding the franchise tag issue all together. But letting a #1 walk at 27 years old is stupid. They aren't going to resign him at this point
  16. Pace is an idiot
  17. Love beating minny in St Paul
  18. I think it would be fantastic to get Watson Rd 2 https://www.google.com/amp/www.sportingnews.com/amp/nfl/news/nfl-draft-rumors-2017-quarterbacks-deshaun-watson-49ers-browns/t3pvkv342oav1m3bnaugzlvdk?client=safari
  19. Dude has Trump hands I wouldn't mind him if you could get him for a late 1st Rd pick, but anything more then that forget it
  20. Isn't that Nuts argument? If you're going to suck, suck handsomely?
  21. A hot Brazilian BA DA CHI
  22. Terrible idea horsefeathers pace
  23. I wouldn't consider drafting a QB at #3 a bad choice as long as we get to chose from all who are available. To me, that means Cle and SF both pass on qb
  24. I loved it, and I'll quote it
