  1. Honestly I think Murphy could be every bit as good as Hammer
  2. I am ignoring the other players as they are mostly roster fillers going in both directions
  3. I realize that, I'm lamenting All in all, we lose on Pan/Saad and tread water on Hammer/Murphy Actually, Pan/Saad is the better deal. We get a younger player that can play both directions with more guaranteed years, and we get a backup goalie. With Saad the better defensive player, our D like stays about the same with the drop off from Hammer to Murphy while gaining Saad over Pararin. However, there is a bigger loss of offense when you go from Panarin to Saad with Hammer and Murphy being about the same. We gain in years and salary, but I stand by what I'm saying
  4. Because nobody wants him or his horrendous contract. I realize that, I'm lamenting All in all, we lose on Pan/Saad and tread water on Hammer/Murphy
  5. If we're getting younger on D, why not trade Seabs Ill miss Hammer and the Breadman, happy to get Saad back
  6. Hahaha I was wondering anyone would catch that. The truth is my I rarely watch Eastern conference hockey, and it's Ryan Kesler I dislike. So, I got confused and couldn't remember when the Pens traded the ducks for him. I was already digging a hole, so I thought I'd go for China with the Madison dig
  7. He's from Madison WI. That's all I need. (Totally irrational, but growing up in Illinois and going to school at MN, I have my geographical prejudices) 1. Compelling argument re Madison 2. Do you also hate yourself for going to Mn instead of Champaign? Symbiotic really. Champaign and Minneapolis have common enemies: Madison and Iowa City I stand by the hatred
  8. What do you have against Kessel? I think the Pens many injuries might catch up with them against the preds. He's from Madison WI. That's all I need. (Totally irrational, but growing up in Illinois and going to school at MN, I have my geographical prejudices)
  9. I can't sand Kressel, and I know we have our own pos (Kane, who may have RAPED someone), but I don't want to ever read of a dynasty like ours. I want 2-3 more
  10. Ahhhh horsefeathers! I hate the penguins!
  11. it makes Cutler at least better the all the others I love the Trubisky pick
  12. It's your unwavering adoration of the deeply flawed Cutler that makes me second guess your opinions on Trubisky, BTW It's your lack of perspective towards the QB position in the city of CHICAGO that makes me realize you really are aimless on the subject
  13. LOOK AT ALL YHE GOOD THINGS THAT COULD HAPPEN!!! THE HUMANITY
  14. Oilers vs Senators plz
  15. Prong one: " Hey all you GMs, I wanna trade up to #2 from #3 OK?" Pace "You're nuts" - The World Prong one works
  16. I'd be way more excited if Pace were fired and Polian brought in
  17. Uh, statistically he was. pretty sure those other idiots didn't have a sex cannon soooo no You had noodle arm, noodle arm II, SEX CANNON, and neck beard
  18. Thanks, pretty good article; I actually think Chicago fans are struggling with this based on what I've seen/read elsewhere. We're a collectively a scarred bunch and just want our comfort zone of great defenses and Jim Miller-Shane Matthews, Rex Grossman-Kyle Orton QB battles. Since when was Grossman anything like those others
  19. I'm guessing Cleveland checked in with Chicago on the 3rd pick thinking they could draft Trubisky at #3. When Pace realized he could get trumped, and SF says "yeah, the Browns called us", if Pace really wanted Trubisky he had one choice. Get the #2
  20. Also, you can't win in the NFL w/o a QB, and you need to be nearly perfect at every other position in order to win w/a mediocre QB
