    What is the percentage of HOF quarterbacks taken outside of the first round? Of course there will be a lot of failed ones, but QB has always been a Rd 1 prize, since Joe Namath. Saying "next year will be better" is totally guessing. Look at Kizer, he was supposed to light the world on fire this year and couldn't. They went with the top QB in the draft and took no chances of losing him. It looks crazy, but only crazy in theory w/o the results. Time will judge Trubisky as it will judge all the qbs, but to whine about making a calculated move is pointless

    Good read, thanks for posting Trubisky has always been my fav QB in the draft. I love the fact we got him, and the picks it took don't mean much to me. There may be players who become HOF that we could have taken, but who can honestly predict that?

    If Trubisky can make reads like he did in college and doesn't get killed, we'll have stability for the next 10+ years at QB. I think that's the gamble, and maybe worth the chance

    Get Robinson and we can likely avoid a QB injury. Or at least try to invest that way

    You mean the last two games, and last game was over by the end of the first period. and in their win streak before the two ugly losses. Score a couple early, put the defense on kill, and if the goalie can keep his head on, this team just picks its spot late. whoever>kane>panarin score. whoever>panarin>kane score.
