  2. Yep. on that note i'm taking an hour long nap. god help me in a decade when i'm 45. i will just have to wake up in the morning and watch highlights and take a nap after watching them i think I need less sleep as i get older. You’ll live Also, dong this bitches to death, Cubs
  3. If you guys want, we can kill this thread and I'll start a new one for games 3 and 4 and we can end this quickly
  4. I plan on just going full on meatball TRUBISKY OR DIE in the bears thread. That, and our ELITE running game. die a slow death, off season.
  5. hey - discussion in the Hawks thread will pick up, too. hockey, and the Bears. sofa's worst nightmare. better hope we win or all you'll have is the politics thread sofa
  6. Lackey couldnt find the horsefeathering strike zone last night until he threw it right down the middle of the horsefeathering plate. If Davis was tired, Lackey most certainly was as well
  7. Question: does jensens cutter always sit about 92 mph and 6’ above the plate? Is that why it looks like a beach ball? Or did we simply horsefeathers the bed because we were in awe?
  8. So. All you smart people. How in the hell is TheoCo going to shore up our junk pitching staff
  9. Sharma adding some context that while Wade was available, he wasn't exactly free for any potential outing: [tweet] [/tweet] I'm not so sure I think that type of restriction is the right call given 2 days off and another tomorrow, but setting that aside, I can at least see the logic for not wanting to go to Davis for 1 out in the 9th knowing you need at least a scoreless 10th too to win the game. Even with all those caveats though, you don't double switch Lackey into the game. He's not the best or even 2nd best reliever for that spot, and by double switching him you're exposing your decision to let Almora hit with a man on base in the 9th as terrible. Maddon just played that small ball-leave your better outfield in to face the deathman. He wanted Almora's glove because the big 3 couldnt get it done. We're just worn out
  10. Lackey didnt want to through that pitch. He and Contreras were baaack and forth. Lackey sucked, knew he sucked and Contreras made him through a strike. But Contreras HAD to. GOD DAMMIT that was all kinds of [expletive] crazy
  11. that was unbelievable. our horsefeathering bullpen was holding and in trots horse teeth.
  12. I just want to be the guy who started the game thread that allowed us all to watch Lackey throw his last pitch as a Cub you're all horsefeathering welcome. now go to bed
