Lol, get horsefeathers, horsefeathers I see the man inspired loyalty. That's a plus! I'm not [expletive] on Trubisky btw. I'm a big believer in piling up college starts (and wins, PAs, completions, TDs) to be a serious NFL QB prospect. He's a really interesting case especially with the trade up. Jets fell hard for another guy with limited experience in Sanchez and are still reeling from it. imagine Sanchez's scrambling ability with a strong accurate arm. in other words, better then Sanchez. -
I was already a non-believer because of the whole one year starter thing, but just from a distance it seems like he sucks. I hated the trade up. I would imagine an uptick in runs scored due solely to wild throws. Think of how many times rizzo is full extended to pick a ball out of the dirt, and hes using the side of the bag to force the out. And home plate gets slick too, especially when wet. Cleats slide on it all the time especially when its wet. Sure, make the base from a different material, but it just seems like such a rabbit hole to fall into. Either end the play the second the runner gets to the bag or is out (eliminating the over run out) or just leave it and let the players adjust their play. Flat bases would blow
