  1. I dont understand why they would have to take over the Rolling Meadows facility in that case, they could simply offer part of their site as a replacement and it would still be a reasonable gesture. If the Bears are struggling to finance a stadium, taking over a 1970's building wont really help them financially.
  2. "We lost our joy to Warren's ploy" ?
  3. assuming not all the other 24 are looking for an edge, and the higher likelihood of finding a good one, you should be able to find a solid one. I'd rather make a trade for a guy like Simmons than an edge. In other news, it looks like Chubb will also be available. He'd prolly be option #3 for me, however
  4. thats not really true, the draft this year is full of EDGEs. DT is a bit thinner, however
  5. if we could sign Trey and use that first for a stud DL, why trade for Crosby. I dont see him as being that much better then Trey
  6. the bears went into the 1986 playoffs with 4 qbs, McMahon (hurt), Steve Fuller (back up), Mike Tomzak (back up) and Flutie (who ended up starting - thanks ditka). The point being, there is such a thing as too many qb's, Flutie never should have started. I agree they back ups can be interchangeable, if Baegent gets us a deal, let him go
  7. nah, demo is like $10 sf, its very low in the overall cost of construction. whatever they put into it, they should be able to get out of it
  8. that larger development strategy has been fading recently due to interest rates, but it was why I never thought the Bears were throwing away $200 mil, they could easily get their money back
  9. actually, as disappointing as this might sound, I was referring to Racine WI. Basically poking fun on both the Bears jumping from stadium site to stadium site (including out of state sites) and the relatively tiny venue they seem to want to build. But hey, if it works for you're joke as well, so be it!
  10. Eventually, guys, we’ll get that 46 k seat nfl stadium just south of racine
  11. I was surprisingly entertained by BB. I thought he was just hip hop, but the Caribbean/latin aspect blew me away. Loved it
  12. Sam Darnold (of all people) now has more Super Bowl wins then the entire Vikings franchise
  13. Picking on Viking fans is like picking on lions fans; they know they have it coming
  14. I don’t think he would. Maye is taking sacks Caleb doesn’t
  15. Patriots look terrible
  16. It’s a sleepy game
  17. yea, but when DJ landed with that TD, it sent the better part of 15 million fans to the moon ... in a heartbeat
  18. Caleb to DJ in OT was moment of the year (I guess play of the year?) Thuney protector of the year
  19. they'll have to or they will have to give up "...the bears have never had a qb since sid lukman"
  20. LIGHT YEARS give it 2 more years, and then lets talk
  21. the old adage is D take forever to develop. I’m not sure that’s true but he is only 20 in a foreign countrY keith was 22 when he came up in 2006 and was consistently 30 pts until 2010. Part of that I’m sure is the rest of the team at the time. But it did take some growing before he was one of the best in the league
  22. Miles Garrett is unhappy what would it take
