  2. well, that was pointless
  3. nice pick play horsefeathering refs
  4. this might be our best offseason signing this year
  5. pee-AIR LOO-eee and GRIP it and RIP IT just because https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZysEDVgDCA
  6. Man, I still don't follow your logic. A 10-6 Bears would still be more likely to make the PO. He isn't saying that. Obviously, if the Bears win all their games, their chances of making the playoffs increases. He is saying that if you simulated the season, say, 100 times, and then would looked at all of the instances where the Bears were in the playoffs, there would be more instances of the Bears being 9-7 and in than 10-6 and in, merely because going 3-0 is very unlikely. yes, this Wrigley. But the Bears going 2-1 likely means they lose to GB, and horsefeathers that. We're winning on Sunday.
  7. horsefeathers TRADING BRYANT YOU GUYS horsefeathers THAT ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT STOP TALKING LALALALALALALALALALALALA
  8. at this point I want the Bears to finish 3-0 or 2-1 and Trubisky to finish with a passer rating north of 90 (hes at 87 now). If we dont make the playoffs, that outcome will give me some hope for next year.
  9. What an absolutely batcrap proposal among a trio of insane proposals FUCCCCCCCCCK THAT horsefeathers
  10. I feel the same, but beating Auburn would be far better for the Gophers then beating Tennessee would be for Indiana. Best of luck, would love a Big Ten sweep
  11. thats STUNNING I stand corrected
  12. It also took at least 3 points off the board (2nd & 7, from the 19) when the team was down 7, after allowing several 3rd down conversions on the previous drive while losing its best ILB. You can hold the INT against him while still acknowledging he played well. I'm willing to excuse some bad throws/INTs, but rarely are they ok in the red zone. Sent from my moto e5 supra using Tapatalk where are you getting 3 points? With Piniero, that's not a given
  13. Iit would be the best outcome, and why I cheer on Mitch. We have other needs, like TACKLE We need more viable edge rushers badly. Leno and Massie are locked in with their salaries already. I'd prefer a vet pickup there. The draft class is strong at edge and we could get something really nice to complement Mack. I've seen enough of Floyd to know that he is an utter JAG. Keep grooming Bars and hope he can supplant Massie next year at some point. edge was the other position of need I was thinking about, but if we are looking at replacing Massie with a project, I want more options. Also, Leno sucks, contract be damned. That guy gets blown up nearly every damn play.
  14. I cannot get on board with this theory, that admittedly has been shared by many others. Mitch was throwing deep before, he wasn't intercepted becuase he'd miss everybody by 5 yards. He also had quite a few "should have been" INTs, and plenty of them on shorter passes as well. The INT last night was really bad. He was not pressured, had plenty of time to get rid of the ball, and should have just thrown it away (although I suspect the film will show he had some open receivers earlier). He's lucky the defense stepped up after Dallas started with a precision drive. He did play great and has rebounded nicely, but I am not for "the interceptions means he's trying more" mentality. His INTs are from bad decisions. I get that its hard to watch him throw that int last night when it looked like such a glaring mental mistake, but he bounced back so well (throwing 3 td's and running for 1) that its hard for me to hold it against him. It was also picked at the 1/2 yard line with the DB barely getting 2 feet down, and ultimately ended up with no points for the Cowboys.
  15. Wasn't that when he was a Viking? Think it was an outdoor game, winter, cold, snow. yes... played at university of minnesota's field that was basically frozen solid and had been shut down for the season. after the metrodome roof collapsed. thats what I said!
  16. thats what it was, bitching! we won, Farve got hurt and it was a beautiful game! I think it won us the division
  17. I remember jersey bitching that someone was going to get hurt because it was such a crappy day and the stadium wasn't prepared to be played in. it was a monday night game and, someone DID get hurt. Favre.
  18. we beat Favre up alot at the end of his career, in fact we pretty much ended his career via Wooten Wasn't that when he was a Viking? Think it was an outdoor game, winter, cold, snow. yes, the metrodome roof collapsed so they played on the icy TCF stadium turf (Gopher Stadium). it was played at like 3/4 speed
  19. Holy crap, how did I not realize that the Bears somehow won at Lambeau 4 years in a row? (2004-2007) Since then they've won in 2013 and 2015 it's easy to forget that the bears owned favre for his last few years. especially while he was with green bay. i can only hope we get to have the same satisfaction/slaying of demons of beating up on rodgers's carcass for a few years. we beat Favre up alot at the end of his career, in fact we pretty much ended his career via Wooten
