  1. Hahahahaha KARMA BITCH
  2. Well, hopefully this fires up Quinn, Mack, Hicks and Co https://www.nbcchicago.com/news/sports/nbcsports/bears-eddie-jackson-hears-all-the-shots-packers-are-taking-at-them/2405779/
  3. Disagree. No QB plays better when blitzed, including the best at facing a blitz, Rodgers. The Bears need to blitz him to keep him at Jesus level. If they keep at a 4 man rush, Rodgers will play at a Holy Trinity level.
  4. sigh Everyone knows what's about to happen. The Bears are done for the season after this game as they really have no realistic chance at 1) beating GB or 2) having AZ beat a shell of a Rams team. But I guess, if I was to play devils advocate I would suggest this: The Bears can beat a HoF QB. In week 5, they beat Brady for the first time in history. In week 8 they took NO to OT. Both those games were under the steady guidance of Nick Foles, however, and with a D that was playing at a higher level than more recent trends. But for now, let's consider the possibility: 1) The offense has to play at its current high level. This means roll-outs, play action, 1/2 field reads, lots of Monty, and an O-line that has been dominating. Against Jax, it almost looked like Nagy was play calling again as those types of pass plays were not being featured. I don't think they can beat GB that way. 2) Pagano can't be (as Raw calls him) a bitch. It's time to gamble, Chucky, and BLITZ. The D HAS to get pressure on Rodgers. He is already playing at an otherworldly level, so don't help him by giving him all day to sit in the pocket. They HAVE to hit Rodgers, they HAVE to sack him, they HAVE to knock him around. And, as importantly, the Bears need Johnson back. If the Bears do those two things, I think they can make a game of this. Mitch will always throw 2-3 passes that we all clench our teeth at, but lately, the offense has been playing at such a level it hasn't killed the team. And as mentioned above, the Bears are playing HoF QBs well this year. While GB has a tight D, both TB and NO's Ds were better. If I squint real hard...maybe?
  5. Devil's Advocate Post: 2020: Yu Darvish - 76 IP, 2.01 ERA Zach Davies - 69.1 IP, 2.73 ERA 2019-2020: Yu Darvish - 254.2 IP, 3.39 ERA Zach Davies - 229 IP, 3.30 ERA 2018-2020: Yu Darvish - 294.2 IP, 3.60 ERA Zach Davies - 295 IP, 3.60 ERA 2017-2020: Yu Darvish - 481.1 IP, 3.70 ERA Zach Davies - 486.1 IP, 3.74 ERA I don't actually think Davies is anywhere near as good as Darvish, but it's kinda remarkable how similar the top line results are for both guys. They are however, is there any doubt Davies is going to be obliterated as a Cub? He's going from one the best pitcher' parks in baseball to Wrigley Field, at times, it can be pitcher' park but, on those days when the wind is blowing out and minimizing contact is in order not a good environment for Davies' to be successful. He's spent more time in Milwaukee fwiw, and pitched against a Cubs team full of power hitters in that time
  6. he's a nancy boy soft tosser and he's not kyle hendricks what's there not to get His numbers are goodish so :dontknow: YOU CANT BE A NANCY BOY SOFT TOSSER AND AND NOT BE KYLE HENDRICKS DUH I don't like the idea of replacing Darvish with Davies in the rotation, but overall Davies isn't a complete dumpster fire
  7. [quote name="Wilson A2000" “"This offseason' date=' I've been experiencing symptoms that have left me feeling drained and lethargic. I am working with doctors so I can better understand my condition. [/quote] well Jon, thats really just called "getting old"
  8. they shouldnt Why not? The Packers are playing the best football in the league right now and have always hammered the Bears with Rodgers. sure. but anytime you depend on a team outside of yourself, it can backfire
  9. i don't think our system (pre-trade) is really all that bad. does this trade improve it significantly or marginally? bye Yu! I miss you already
  10. Sounds like they feel confident that the Packers will take care of the Bears for them. they shouldnt
  11. eh, his yards, catches are all down (relatively). The one stat Graham is having a good year is TD's (8). its a small revival
  12. Robert Tonyan. In the interest of being fair to him, the Packers have been bringing him along since 2017, after the Lions discarded him. So good for him for hanging around until he got his chance. I just think he's a product of Rodgers just like many others, and will disappear if he leaves GB. Kind of sick of seeing him make big catch after big catch! Product of Rodgers? Hasn't Rodgers historically been unkind to his TEs? Was it Rodgers or McCarthys schemes? And Graham was aging by the time he signed with GB, he just happens to be having a late-career revival with Chicago
  13. I'd agree. I guess we'll see if he's really as level headed as Pace staked his career on and takes that kind of contract.
  14. hoping for a Rams win is probably the more likely scenario in which the bears get into the playoffs, but it wouldn't be the better scenario. The Bears have to prove their offense is really working. I thought they did that against the Vikings and turn around to see the Saints put up more points against their failing D. Its time for the Bears to beat a team at their apex, or get ready to trade up
  15. yup our only hope is to hurt Aaron Rodgers We tried that once, it didn't work Try harder
  16. But if Ten comes back tonight, and the Bears manage to upset them next week..... Bears Packers wild card matchup? yup our only hope is to hurt Aaron Rodgers
  17. The packers get away with so much horsefeathers
  18. But if Ten comes back tonight, and the Bears manage to upset them next week.....
  19. Bears and GB will both be playing for something next week. Hopefully, the offense stays on and the D wakes up
  20. I don't think the Bears can afford to back into the playoffs. They have to beat GB. Eh. I mean if they continue to look like a real team on offense, I'd take backing in after a 34-28 loss. But if it's 27-3 right before halftime against GB again, then I won't feel very confident that they won't get completely embarrassed in back-to-back weeks. I'd doubt they win either way, but potential matchups against the Saints and Seahawks don't look super daunting. Brees can't really throw anymore. If Pagano can figure out how to make aggressive play calls this time around, the Saints are a team Foles took to OT. Seattle is tough, but their offense hasn't been great recently. The defense looks like it's coming around, though. With the way the Bears offense is playing, it's more likely to be 42-38 then 34-28. But to hell with all of that, just win.
  21. Such as the Rams, losing to the Jets. Kind of unsettling when we’d like their help next week. I don't think the Bears can afford to back into the playoffs. They have to beat GB.
  22. Bears have averaged 30 ppg for 4 straight games for the first time since 1965
  23. Bears win, bears rout, and I still feel Ho-hum about it Welp, bring on GB
  24. uff nichols
  25. I shouldn't have faith in this team, but I don't see it. Robinson is out for them. Minshew could give them trouble, but don't see it with Glennon starting. I'll be slightly disappointed if they win by single digits. Sent from my SM-A115AZ using Tapatalk Right? They need to route the Jags for me to feel comfortable going back to Soldier field. Well, as comfortable as I might possible be flying directly into the sun
