I already read the article so I know the answer but I would have known without it. That game was so awful but the Bears were in control the whole way because Forte ran for like 800 yards and the defense did the rest. When you look at it through the lens that Bears have had the most consistently bad QB situation in the league, it almost feels like the Bears have overachieved over that 35 year time period. 1 super bowl win, 1 other super bowl appearance, 2 other conference title game appearances, 13 total playoff appearances. All done with Jay Cutler as the best QB in that timeframe. I can already see someone like jersey replying and saying the Bears last 35 years should not be looked as overachieving in any way. Don't get me wrong, the Bears performance in that timeframe is probably within the bottom 10 of the league and should be viewed that way. But somehow we've been able to cobble together the little success that we did have over that span while handicapped at the most important position in sports the entire time. look at it this way, in the last 35 years both the the Vikings and Detroit have been arguably WORSE 0 SB appearances 0 SB wins and neither has won the Division more times then the Bears
