  1. I think the latter. It's one reason that I like the wide net approach. You can almost crowdsource HC candidates by what the GM candidates say and vice versa for the GM. That's not a literal statement, but the Bears could be making a simple Venn diagram of who everyone likes and who everyone is concerned about. The other thing is you get to hear 10 GM candidates tell you what is wrong with your team and how to fix it. There must be some level of common answers that are irrefutable even to non-football guys like George. good points, otoh I wish (after decades of being entirely immersed in it) Geo would develop some football sense of his own. alas....crowdsourcing and Venn diagrams it is!
  2. There is if Daboll gets hired while Geo is pondering what salad to have at his next GM interview. He's had time, in fact this year he's had more time then in past What if.....I know, long shot.....but what if there is more than 1 good candidate? thats kind of the point, raw. McCaskeys had time to start the search, interview people, and even ponder the meaning of life. There are probably more then one good candidate for GM and HC, but if you are serious about developing Fields there is really only the best choice. Judging by the glacier pace of the process, McCaskey either doesn't feel that developing Fields is a priority or he's too dense to understand how to do that.
  3. I hate this. How they don't have a GM in place by now is criminal Eh? It's not the worst thing in the world, yet. If they don't have one until the super bowl, that's a problem. But there's nothing wrong with waiting until this week. There is if Daboll gets hired while Geo is pondering what salad to have at his next GM interview. He's had time, in fact this year he's had more time then in past
  4. I hate this. How they don't have a GM in place by now is criminal
  5. My guess is they've said to potential GMs "if you want Frazier, go somewhere else" Maybe Frazier us pulling his name, doesn't want to be a HC
  6. Do you remember when the Bears traded Urlacher just before his peak? About that much of a chance
  7. Mr McCaskey, get on the phone already and make the horsefeathering hire
  8. Give him the Gruden deal, 10/$100 I don't care This game is a perfect audition for Daboll vs Frazier #hireDaboll
  9. Minus the Bears knocking them out of the playoffs, yesterday won't get any better. Get him out of here, ASAP. He's the MVP two years in a row. I'll take my chances with Love and their financial situation. I could see Rodgers restructuring his contract, but $50 mil is a lot to find
  10. Eh, whatever. I try not to get to wrapped up in professional athletes personal lives, or really their lives off the field. I like him during games/season. He probably is a douche. But I’ll never interact personally with him. And there’s a lot of worse athletes/people in professional sports/entertainment industry. its not his personal life, he’s actively making life worse for normal people. He’s an awful human being supported by trash pandasI feel like that's an insult to raccoons everywhere
  11. Interesting Also, he can't win a big game
  12. also your qb is a delusional qanon supporting douchebag that never backs up his [expletive] words Eh, whatever. I try not to get to wrapped up in professional athletes personal lives, or really their lives off the field. I like him during games/season. He probably is a douche. But I’ll never interact personally with him. And there’s a lot of worse athletes/people in professional sports/entertainment industry. He's "probably" a douchebag? He eats horsepaste. He's 100% a douchebag
  13. That is an amazing one-liner. =D> It's not a one liner, Rodgers is a horsefeathering moron and GB lost because of it
  14. horsefeathers THE PACKERS AND THEIR HORSE PASTE EATING QB
  15. #analytics Where's your sense of adventure The lack of a strong coaching tree is concerning
  16. The last HC who came from a TB coaching tree was great for us Why not
  17. Who was that guy for the Browns
  18. holy horsefeathers im sorry i opened this thread horsefeathers mitre
  19. I dont like that, not because I wanted Schoen (I'm indifferent to him as a GM) but for the potential of him hiring Daboll and us ending up with Frazier
  20. maybe by then, someone will hire Daboll and then McCaskey will actually get to ponder the what if's and end up with whats left.
  21. do you mean Daboll or Harbaugh? Daboll. Ben Allbright (Broncos guy) has suggested that Daboll was the favorite to be the next Bears coach since the summer. interesting
  22. nah. I just think Mike and Geo are so much alike in their ineptitude that its hard to separate them. but ghost tweeters are also a fantastic idea
  23. do you mean Daboll or Harbaugh?
  24. nah, its Micheal M putting out feelers to Bear Fans on a Harbaugh hire who I thought we established George was synonymous with Michael and Ed also, I might just be old and confuse them all
  25. This is such a tease tweet lol. And turning off the comments so he can get retweet. Bait. nah, its Micheal M putting out feelers to Bear Fans on a Harbaugh hire
