  1. plus, Eberflus will likely be the D guy, and rightfully so. He might be all they need. A staff full of O guys is beneficial if they start to get poached due to success. Lets hope for that what do you mean by this? Eberflus has already stated he will not call defensive plays, they hired a DC and several other experienced defensive position coaches. meaning continuity at D; Eberflus will likely be the one setting up the defense, and the DC et al become less important in maintaining their level of play due to cooperate raiding if Eberflus' defense is good. The offense is probably more suspect in that regard, and therefore its more important to have a good pipeline of offensive coaches
  2. Well with everyone else chasing one type just means prob most will be back in the carousel in a few years. Good chance the Bears will too obviously, but hopefully the first choice of a D guy is better than the 6th best O guy. (positive thinking) plus, Eberflus will likely be the D guy, and rightfully so. 3. Disgusting What a way to ruin a franchise
  4. ever since it became apparent the Packers are on a downward spiral, the NFC North has become an arms race. I love it
  5. I feel like we did every Sunday with Nagy
  6. I like to pretend pre- and post-Cubs Yu doesn't exist. I love him so much I dont wnat to share him with another fan base. Currently, he's retired.
  7. to me, he looks soo much like a younger Ted Danson I want to call him "mayday malone" I'm not sure I wanted him to coach the Bears, but I worry a bit if he's with the Vikings
  8. harbaugh is not worth all this wtf lol he's fine. in 4 of his HC years at SF, he went to the NFC Championship 3 times and the SB 1. I think blowing off the Vikings hiring Harbaugh is a mistake. I dont think he alone will turn the Vikings into a juggernaut, but his hiring will likely be a good thing rather than bad for the Vikings. On the flip side, Eberflus is a total unknown at this point
  9. I know this is obviously cherry-picking his great moments, but I don't know how anyone can watch this video and still say that Fields is a failed QB who can't be salvaged at this point. To be fair it's largely rival fans looking at his numbers, but the number of people who treat Fields a bust is ridiculous. Also a nice reminder of how tough the Bears schedule was this year, as the highlights include games with the Rams, Bengals, Raiders, Packers, Bucs, 49ers, Cardinals, Packers again, just relentless. And Fields did it with an offensive line that was easily bottom third in the NFL (I think Peters was mostly solid, but everyone else was pretty bad), and I'm excited to see what Fields can do with an offense tailored to him and an OL that can give him 3 seconds of pass protection. Its fun to watch Fields take 5-7 steps back, plant, and Mooney is already a good 30 yards down field on some of those throws. Dude is fast
  10. That would be difficult if he wasn’t tipping the cutter so bad. Whatever you think you are seeing, I'm not. The only way he could tip one of those two pitches enough for me to get a jump on it is if he yelled what the pitch would be before his wind up. I don't see anything that gives it away
  11. I appreciate the thought, but it really only lasted about 11 minutes
  12. It should be much higher than 32 if you include the Packer fan dopes who own worthless stock certificates that say they are an owner. Although, collectively they may amount to a single idiot
  13. Yea but Darnold. I rest my case
  14. I thought that as well Although those may have been planted by Ross yes. It would be very disappointing to hear Flores was passed over for any HC position because of Ross spreading that rumor
  15. why would Joe Brady be a good hire? The Panthers had a worse offense then we did
  16. I thought the reports were Flores wanted Watson. I thought that as well
  17. I heard his wife has a decent career, she was probably always the breadwinner
  18. I'd b swatt'n @ flies
  19. Or just like, take the pitch, because it's an obvious ball? I dunno, just looks like a slider to me have you ever tried to hit a slider before? If it was the only pitch you saw maybe you can say that, but if its sandwiched between two Darvish fastballs I guarantee that you would swing at it, only to watch it fall away from you as you wildly try to correct in the follow-through
  20. True, but they can lose the game
  21. Build the Bears while killing the Packers? Yes please
  22. Our new GM watched the Broncos to steal the Packers off coordinator and now has stolen GBs next in line; their qb coach? And in reality, it all makes sense from a relationship aspect? horsefeathering assassin. I love Poles already
  23. For Cleveland, bring me Tomy Boy
