Looks like he started the affair before his nuts had shrivled due to HGH. And we should believe Clemens because he has proven to be such an honest person? and McNamee has proven to be honest how? It's his lawyers that have brought this up. Quite honestly I don't care either way. That's personal business and should be kept private it doesn't have anything to do with on field stuff so why care.
49ers didn't take a WR until the 6th rd. What's the point then? No one in 6th rd is going to beat out Bruce, BJohnson, Battle, or Hill. And the guy they got doesn't solve the no returner problem either. Overall though I liked my 49ers draft.
SHHHH all of you I just want to enjoy it a little more before I wake up. For those that don't know the NL Central has also had the best record in baseball for about two weeks straight now (may be a day or two in there that we feel a game back of the AL East). I have brought that division point up to my Red Sox fan roommate many times. He doesn't like it so much when I do that. :cray:
Where's your how many games behind first posts? I so looked forward to those. And who would have thunk SS would be our strongest position so far in relation to the rest of the league?
I'll put money on it that ARod passes that by the end of the 2013 season (Assuming bonds does not come back) If i was an owner with more money than needed I would sign Bonds. I would then tell the manager to not start or okay him ever and at any pinch hit opportunity put him in only to pull him at the last second. This way his career ends by him quitting.
don't do it AT ALL. Utley is a top 5 fantasy player and MVP candidate (probably would have won it if he didn't get hurt last year). Meanwhile Tulo is a good SS but not anywhere near great fantasy wise. Cano is a good 2b but looks like he could end up having a medicore year. So essentially by making this trade you will give up one of the best players hands down for two above average players. The difference between Utley and Cano is massive and the difference between Insert Name and Tulo at SS isn't nearly as big. That's what it comes down to. You lose a ton at 2b and gain slightly at SS.
gotcha. I've always been blown away by Henderson's steals record. Cy's win/loss records just don't do it for me because it was a difference in how the game was played. Steals have been around for quite awhile and Henderson was just ridiculous. Someone would have to average 50 SB's for 28 years just to get to his mark. We don't even have one guy steal 50 every season.
I just remembered that too. What a toolbox. Where was that? Arizona in the playoffs last year? yes as brief as that series was that was when it happened.
That's awful luck... it's not awful offense. Get runners like this, and we're gonna score more than 2 runs a vast majority of the time. Sure a majority of the time we will get guys in but on a night like this it's not bad luck causing the problems we just aren't hitting well. It happens in the course of a long season but it isn't bad luck unless we have a lot of line drive outs and that is definately not the case tonight.
