Carpenter is far better than any pitcher on the Cubs Wainwright is as good as any pitcher on the Cubs Pineiro isn't as good, but is pitched as well as any pitcher on the Cubs Lohse is hurt, but he's a a solid 3rd, good 4th starter Wainwright would have the 4th best ERA on the Cubs. Carpenter would have the best ERA, but he's pitched a grand total of 65 innings. ow has Piniero pitched as well as any starter on the Cubs? Lshe is hurt? Go back to St. Louis. Carpenter's resume is solidified. Nobody on your staff is even close Wainwright over the last 3 seasons has been as good as any Cub starter, and this year he'd be second in VORP on the Cubs behind Lilly, who he is a much better pitcher than. Lilly is basically Kyle Lohse with a few more Ks, but more walks. I didn't say Pineiro was a good pitcher, but he's having a very good season. You worry about Ks, I worry about HRs and BBs. And he's given up 12 walks in 92 innings. That's great. And he's given up 2 home runs. It wont last, but that's not what I argued. Carp >>>>>>>> Zambrano Wainwright > Harden (Should he even count? He doesn't even pitch and when he does, he's awful). Lilly = Lohse Dempster > Pineiro, but that's not saying much Randy Wells? Marshall vs. Brad Thompson. Whatever, they all suck. Go to sleep. Yeah, he has been awesome this year for Milwaukee. He has like a 23 LD%. He hits everything hard it feels like. He has really picked up the slack when Rickie went down. I hope he can keep this up. (Obviously he won't hit .340)

It was one of the most impressive storms I'd ever seen down here. It was reminiscent of the huge lightning storm that passed through Chicago last year that caused Lance Berkman to nearly crap himself while on the field. Seriously that storm was nuts. 80 mph wind, golfball sized hail, and very impressive lightening. Heres a link to my facebook with pictures from the storm at my parents house. Its crazy how out of control stroms can get and how destructive they can be. Today is actually the 8th year anniversery of a F-3 Tornado hitting the town I live in so I know the feeling. The Packers when I was 6 so I don't count that really. The Bucks almost reached the finals when I was like in 6th grade so i really dont remember it that well. Between the Packer/Brewer/Bucks I really can remember like 4 or 5 PLAYOFF wins. I have no idea what this championship thing is.

I just don't want the Brewers to win it. I am sick of their bush league behavior. I would pull for the Cardinals before them. I will take a team of asses that are legitimate players over having to watch the parade of magically good crappy baseball players in St. Louis play postseason baseball. There is no more legitimate player than Albert Pujols. The reason they are competitive is a testament to how good Albert is. Chris Carpenter when healthy is one of the best in the game.

Oh you didnt like his "Im going to scream at you and get in your face like im actually going to do something about it". Of course he's not going to do anything about it. He doesn't want to get suspended. Nine out of 10 players would do the same exact thing after getting cheapshotted like that. Cheapshotted like that? He was about to dunk the ball when it was obvious the Magic were not going to foul. All Petrius did was shoved him a little. Was it cheap? Sure. Was it cheap enough to act like a d-bag like he did about it? Not really.

Its within 2 min of a close game, do you REALLY think the refs are going to call something against Kobe? I mean that elbow was so obvious it was joke. If Howard was on a fast break Kobe could tackle him and the refs would still not call anything.

Between Gasol and Kobe, the Lakers complain more than any team EVER.

The Twins are a pretty decent team. I live on the border of Minnesota/Wisconsin so I hear about them all the time. Mauer is the best catcher and possibly hitter in baseball when healthy. Morneau is a monster as well. Both kill leftys as well. Span is a solid lead off guy. I dunno if they are going to do it for Interleague but they do bat their best hitter 2nd in Joe Mauer. Jason Kubel destroys rightys but doesn't hit leftys. Cuddeyer was red hot against us, he can hit the ball out of the ballpark but unless he is hot he sucks. Joe Crede is Joe Crede. Homer or K. When they play Span,Gomez,Cuddyer in the OF they have a pretty solid defense. Gomez is the best defesnsive CF in baseball and arguably one of the fastest players in baseball. Slowey can be hit but doesn't walk anyone. If he qualified he would of been I think number 2 in WHIP last year. Joe Nathan is a hammer in the 9th. But if you can get Slowey out early everyone not named Nathan blow and you should destroy them. IF this was ever a World Series match up my head would explode.
