    Seriously! On Baseball Tonight (I know, consider the source...) they were talking up all the "division leaders" and whether teams like the Cubs should be worried. Nevermind the fact that they actually still have a winning record. It's ridiculous. It's like trying to predict how worried an NFL team should be after week one. This would actually be more like the first quarter of the week one game. Its way to early. That being said i cringe whenever i see neal cotts coming in Is that new math or East Carolina Pirates math? no, i know the math is wrong, just saying its extremely early to get all worried right now. Sure there are problems but they were a lot worse in 2007.

    The problem is, fans live in the now. They don't look at the big picture, they just look at whats happening right now, and if something isn't working right now, they want it fixed. If we could all only calm down and look at the bigger picture, which part of it is...its been 4 games!!...we would all be better off. But since we don't, we see Lee slumping and we want to DFA him or something. Not DFA, just moved down in the order

    We all complain about Soriano but who really needs to be moved down in the order is Lee, my god between last years, "lee with a grounder to the shortstop, second, double play". I would much rather have Ramirez or Bradley there, hell even Soto

    If we didnt have a superior option, it would be different. So you'd rather have brought Gregg in to the spot Marmol was brought into? Our superior option has a more important job. we had 2 great relievers with wood last year, sad Hendry wouldnt bring woody back. its early, if this was Oct 2, and we were tied in the standings, then id being flipping poop burgers

    No, his hand was on the plate before Hill brought the glove over. That was a pretty easy call. Of course, he would have been out with a good throw. Too bad Ryan Theriot sucks at baseball. Yeah. A good throw probably gets Weeks, assuming Hill handles the ball ok. But the short hop killed that chance. after watching tejada all week, it makes me wish we had someone with that kinda rocket arm at SS

    We all know Kerry wouldn't blow a save against the Brewers in the first week of the season...... he didnt last year, the game was tied on opening day :P

    i dont think its that far fetched that the reds could contend all season. I personally think they will finish in either 2nd or 3rd

    The UDbox seats are better, see if you can upgrade, it might be worth it. Avoid most of the 200 level seats like the plague.

    Marshall vs Adenhart its on MLB Network with Angels annoucers Marshall hasn't won the 5th spot, and Milwaukee and St Louis are both much improved over last year according to them no topic posted so figured id give it a shot

    uh, #8 and this isn't even close. While Dawson is my all time favorite Cub, Sosa was far more significant. Till its proven he used PED's, he is innocent in my book.

    i hate to say this but im sure white sox fans thought the same when Williams traded carlos lee to the brewers for Podsednick. I dont think derosa being a fan favorite should have anything to do with it, we didnt win one playoff game with him. Sure he was great but next year he could have sucked and a lot of oyu guys would have been like, HENDRY IS A MORON, he should have traded Derosa when his value was high.
