  1. Worse. Weather.Com has High 48, Low 35, 60% chance of rain. Fun.
  2. OH, my God, thank you, everyone. I love you guys.
  3. Okay, so I've just received some tickets I ordered from Stubhub, and this is the first time I've gotten tickets that I didn't order via tickets.com, so I'm not actually sure what they're supposed to look like. They're for Opening Day, they both have a picture of the white flag with the blue W, the tickets are white with red lettering where it says "aisle", "row", and "seat", and black text where the actual numbers are for those. There's also a number one on each ticket, I guess because it's game one? There IS a barcode on the bottom. On the back is an advertisement for the Chicago Cubs Extra Bases Mastercard. Can somebody please tell me if this is what they're supposed to look like? I'm actually kinda nervous. And this is a secondary question. If you're going down the aisle (literally down the steps of the aisle), I know 100's on one side and 1's on the other side, but I'm not sure which is which. Left or right, if anyone knows? THANK YOU.
  4. Speaking of yesterday's game, which I believe was 3-16, I was flipping back from Lakers/Rockets and coming out of a commercial break WGN was showing a schedule of events that I believe was for March 31st (Opening Day) but I just barely got a glimpse of it before they took the graphic off the screen. Other than the Banks statue unveiling and the game itself, what else is going on that day?
  5. Of course, we can all mute the TV and listen to Pat and Ron.
  6. I think if you listened to Boers & Bernstein regularly, you'd be able to tell that was a joke.
  7. Oh, I guess they just didn't put it on the schedule. Well, my point still stands about Saturday's game.
  8. I don't see anywhere on Cubs.com that either today or tomorrow will be on CSN.
  9. It is! I just clicked over there after reading your reply. :) EDIT: Apparently people were already talking about this in Rants.
  10. Really bad article. Don't read this article. Don't even click the link. I'm telling you, it's terrible. I mean, it's kinda funny, but seriously, save yourselves. http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20080309/COL03/803090373/
  11. Yeah, I'm hearing the same thing from my people. Plus there's the beat writer who was quoted as saying, "it just makes too much sense not to happen."
  12. White Sox schedule says the March 15th game will be televised on WGN, with Hawk and DJ, I guess.
  13. The spring training games were broadcast in widescreen, but not in HD. However, every regular season game will be in HD this year.
  14. because the Dusty-run clubhouse was a complete clown show. Steve Stone compliments Roy Oswalt and a fine pitching performance and then he has Alou/Mercker calling the booth to complain? what sane manager would allow that to happen? i don't blame him one bit for quitting....the whole situation was a joke I know, but it seems like some of the people here are saying that Stone is just bitter because he was fired, when that's really not the case, and the Cubs got rid of everyone that was said to be causing problems for him. I think Stone's actually been really positive about the Cubs considering everything that went down.
  15. Steve Stone was NOT fired. He quit.
  16. Add me, please! I've gotta make a name for myself!
