    Liriano should have been on there.. he has crazy numbers. 9-1, 1.99 ERA, 94k's to 20 BB's in only 81 IP.. How does a guy like Buehrle get selected (I think he got selected and not picked by Ozzie right?) with 9-5, 3.86ERA, 51/28 k/BB in 116 IP?

    OH yeah.. Heard that that Pagan was starting in right and murton in left.. Thought i heard Nevins name in the line up (1b?) but I could be wrong about that..

    I heard that interview too, i was pretty surprised at some of the things he was saying. I'm pretty sure that Williamson has pitched his last inning as a cub after that interview.. You can tell he's not very happy here.

    I rather like the idea of sending a number of guys on this team to the glue factory. If the team doesn't get any better when all these guys come back, would you call it a horsegag? I was thinking we could call the team that plays in Wrigley the CUBJ, completely useless by June.....or July, take your pick. BCB Why not just Completely Useless By Spring?

    Did anyone else watch this? I saw this last night while the cubs game was on commercial. I have never been so angry.. I have no confidence that Hendry will every make a right move. All he kept blamming it on was clutch hitting. Then they compared the cubs to the Yankee's, saying that they lost more in the terms of players than the cubs have and they are still only a few games out of first. Jim answered by saying we have players that have a history of performing and just haven't had the clutch hits, and then used the injury excuse. Which the question was alread addressing the injury issue... I hate this team..

    My best friend had the exact same thing happen.. I was up at NIU visiting him the day it happend, and we all thought it was just a bad headache... Didn't go to the hospital til the next day.. Doctor said he was lucky to be alive.. Not one of the better days in my life..

    Poor Murton got Bakered... last year Murton was awesome, and at the beginning of this year her was holding his own as well, til dusty started giving him pointers about what he was doing wrong, and its all been down hill from there.. Anyone have a link to that article.. I'd be interesting to see his stats before that article, then his stats after it..

    Sorry, this is going to be off topic, but you said you were a college golfer.. Would you happen to have any tips on putting.. I am horrible. I shoot low 40 - 44 for 9 but have 18-22 puts, 18 if I'm lucky that day.. I was just looking up some tips online before checking nsbb and read your post so I thought I'd ask. Thanks. Sorry to post off topice..

    I'm sure Dusty will have a talk with Walker to let him know what he did wrong.. I mean taking 4 straight pitches when the pitcher is trouble and walking with the basesloaded, that is not how you hit, after all its called Hitting!

    Stupid Walker, taking 4 straight pitches with the bases loaded and walking in a run.. Just an update, the cubs have scored 3 runs and only 1 out so far with the bases loaded, and haven't even hit the ball out of the infield.. Ok, now the hottest hitter in baseball just singled in another run 5-1 cubs.. Ok, now even Pierre got a RBI single with the basesloaded.. Is today the end of man kind?
