We all want to hear them, and we always ask for them. Seems logical to make its own thread so we can archive them for reference purposes. I think it'd be a good archive to keep track of.

    I wouldn't do it. Kemp and Figgins steal a lot of bases so you would lose a lot there. Yeah but I still have Figgins and I can stick him in the UTIL slot any time I want. Plus, I have Hanley Ramirez, Ian Kinsler, and Alex Rios stealing bases all over the place. I am running away with the steals category right now (and have been for a long time even with Figgins spending most of the year so far on the DL). I need RBI and HR. You'd be crazy not to do it. Ryan Church is on the DL and Matt Kemp kinda sucks as a fantasy player. Youklis is ripping it up this year.

    If you're pretty much trading Kinsler for a pitcher, I think you could get a much better pitcher than Felix Hernandez at this point. Kinsler is the 2nd best player according to Yahoo right now. Don't settle for someone like Hernandez when there's pitchers like Lee, Halladay, Zambrano, and Lackey out there that Kinsler could possibly attract

    Speaking of history, has anyone noticed that this season may produce two 40-40 hitters in Hanley Ramirez and Grady Sizemore? A 40-40 guy is rare enough, but two in one year? Astounding. Hell, if they play out of theior minds the second half we may have two 50-50 guys, though that's a stretch, but anything is possible

    Greinke would be a sensational #5 starter in the rotation, and remarkable insurance if Harden goes down with an injury

    I just peed a little. I really really really wanted to see Gallagher stay and be successful, but they were bouncing him back to the bullpen, so this is probably best for his career. Murton was ignored and neglected and probably would go back to AAA then Soriano returns, EPatt is somewhat of a joke, and Donaldson is... well... who needs him when you have Soto? Gallagher was the only one who would really contribute this year, and quite frankly, Harden vs. Gallagher is an easy choice. The players could turn out well for Oakland, but they really had no place or future in this organization. So pretty much this is a steal. Here's hoping Harden stays healthy enough to dominate. Man... this rotation is sick, and could be better if Hill turns it around. I'm so hyped. This is f-bombing rad!

    Like most everyone else, if salary is included, then Theriot. Jeter's production has never been worth $20 million and it never will be. I don't care how captainy or clutchy he is. There's only a handful of men in the majors who are worth $20+ million. Derk Jeter is not, and never has been, one of them. I'll take the gritty spark plug entering his prime (though that's not saying much for Theriot) at $428,000 over the aging, overpaid, and vastly overrated superstar at $20 million. If salary is not an issue, you take Jeter obviously, but salary is always an issue, and this makes it quite an easy decision to avoid Jeter and his declining skillset.

    I'll take Bedard if he comes cheaply, and he likely will come cheaper than what they gave up for him, but considering what they did give up for him I doubt they want to let him go for peanuts

    Here's a bold prediction: CC's first start as a Brewer will be a collosal failure. This of course is wishful thinking, but CC's been a mixed bag this year. I'm banking on his first start being the bad half of the bag. [crosses fingers]

    1) I'm sorry for your cancer and I hope you successfully fight it. I truly do. But... 2) Did you honestly expect everyone's response to your initial message to be "Way to go!" or "OMG that's AWESOME!" or "Holy crap, thanks so much!". You've been here long enough to know that no one was going to be receptive right out of the gate. You might have been grasping for straws on that one, it is quite a bit odd. The fact that you got so offended by it was puzzling, you should've known the reaction before even hitting "Submit" when you finished typing it. Like I said, I'm sorry for your cancer, I really am, but you shouldn't use your life threatening illness as a defense mechanism for making a silly post.

    Maybe they don't want a rookie catcher and rookie pitcher as starters. Volquez isn't a rookie. Had about 79IP spread out between 2005-2007 with Texas.
