Seriously, that looks like one of the worst trades ever, unless they know something like Luka's foot actually has a bomb implanted in it that will go off within a year
Well, Jed certainly has the Cubs tied into a lot of "possible" moves. Hopefully we have one more big move for a SP in store, and probably a RP (Robertson?) too
I don't remember that specifically, but does any one else feel like if KB went to an org that wasn't a dumpster fire like Colorado then maybe his career would have turned out differently? I know injuries have been a huge part of it, but I feel like even that is a byproduct of being in a bad org.

Keith Law's just missed list includes both Caissie and Jefferson Rojas
easy to say all that after Johnson got the job. It may be completely true, but it's just as likely that it's all spin. Though I do think Johnson wanted to be in Chicago due to Caleb and the familiarity with the division and the clear opportunity to be seen as the conquering hero if he's as good as he thinks he is (which is no slight - I think you have to have a healthy ego as a football coach)
Allen seems to be a good choice for DC...
Can DJ Moore play the ARSB role in this offense? Let Odunze be the field stretcher, even though his speed is nothing like Jameson Williams (not that many are on that level)
Goff turned into a pumpkin and his defense had about as many injuries as the Bears O-Line... I don't think he's anything special, but this result isn't evidence of your point
Rooting for the Bills tomorrow so that the Bears can wrap up their coaching search this week. I'd rank them as follows:
1. Johnson
2. Monken
3. McCarthy
also, Aaron Glenn's D didn't give up a pick 6, or fumble, or throw 2 other INTs. Still wouldn't want my team to hire a defensive guy, but this game isn't the reason
Everyone was saying Stroud was leaps and bounds better than Bryce Young last year... Young really closed that gap this year. Caleb's stats aren't that much worse than Daniels', it's just that Daniels' team is a lot better around him, not to mention the actual NFL coaching staff
is it just me, or are the Cubs generally awful at dealing with injuries? How many times have they not put someone in the IL, only for them to end up missing just as much time and playing shorthanded in the meantime? Then you get stories like that...
Schefter was on Pat McAfee and said the "Johnson to the Raiders" stuff is overblown, among other things.
