  1. Columbus trying to lure an NBA franchise to town to share the arena with the Blue Jackets. The Sacramento Kings seem like the logical choice
  2. not only did he hit four 2-run HR, but Elvis Andrus was the guy on base all 4 times.
  3. that 372 ERA+ is sexy
  4. Philly is averaging 79 ppg the last 3 games but has won 2 of them. FML
  5. This game is on a station I don't even get. Sweet, saves me the misery of watching
  6. What about against the Astros in Milwaukee? 9K 1 BB 3 H He has a 1.98 ERA 1.02 WHIP 14/32 BB/K in 41 IP. It would sure be nice to have that in the spot currently inhabited by Chris Volstad. In an airport hanger of a ballpark
  7. I thought the eye squinting was a Darwin Barney slam. One eye is squinty, the other is lazy
  8. Not the least of which is looking like Ashton Kutcher. Nah, he looks like a vampire
  9. Not really, he'll just start a day later. Still can't figure out why MLB doesn't suspend starting pitchers for X number of starts instead of X number of games. The suspension is so easy to work around that it's rendered meaningless How do you determine how many games constitutes missing starts? You're also punishing pitchers disproportionately by having them lose out on more money than position players. Instead of suspending Hamels 5 games, suspend him 1 start. TA-DA!

  11. Boston is going to cake walk to the ECF
  12. Ha ha ha. Bulls 0-4 on FT's
  13. FML....no one can make a shot.
  14. Remember when he was stuck behind John Wetteland for the closer spot? Good times
  15. That would really be great. However, I doubt the Colts are drafting first next year. The Bears are going to break Luck in half in Week 1, so they'll probably go winless
  16. wait wait wait The South Bend police are actively looking to arrest the only people in South Bend that are keeping it from being a corn field? What kind of bizarro world is this? Every other small college town bends over backwards to protect the local sports heroes. The SBPD (lol) is about 137th on the list of the reasons ND football is irrelevant
  17. So hows that new user name treating you? Do tell
  18. Tussling' with cops is one of the top 3 most fun things to do in South Bend
  19. Has LaHair lapped the rest of the team in HR yet?
  20. Something something TRADITION something
  21. Dolis throws like a right-handed Felix Heredia
  22. This is every FOX News viewer
  23. I wish I had a job that I could basically [expletive] up so bad that it ruins the company I work for and have complete impunity
  24. at least he takes it strong to the basket
  25. Looking back at recent prospect packages for young, top of the rotation starters makes me want to hang onto Garza. Looking at the Johan Santana deal, for example, shows that Minnesota ended up far worse. Humber, Gomez and Mulvey are all off the team, and only Humber is any good of those three. Still waiting to see if Guerra pans out. Meanwhile, the Mets have had several years of Santana in his prime (though most of the rest of the team has sucked).
