It's time to see if Columbus can finally woo a big free agent. I would hope that the team's strong showing last season, coupled with their move to the Eastern Conference would make it an attractive option, but that remains to be seen

No, the 5v3 was just over and it was still a 5v4 power play when that goal was scored. That's my point... if they had scored 5v3, they still would have been able to play the 5v4 power play, correct? yes

Interesting....when I suggested that Detroit knocks Chicago on it's ass after Game 1 of the ECSF's, people were somehow offended by my implication that someone tries hurting someone. But it's totally okay to "tune up" an injured Bruin? Who said anything about purposely trying to injure him? Checking is allowed in hockey and is an integral part of the game. A clean hit was all I was advocating too, but people jumped on me for it. Whatever
