  1. Why did Rizzo suddenly forget how to lay off balls in the dirt?
  2. The Top 5 Lakers would destroy the Top 5 Bulls The 6-10 Lakers would probably mop up as well
  3. Most pitchers are red necks on the outside, petulant children on the inside

  5. Bryant doing his best Alfonso Soriano impersonation
  6. Why would you want to do that? Have you seen him hit? I know it's a small sample size, but he's put up video game numbers in the time he's been here. What's Montero's timetable to return? Let's say he's back by the end of the month, which sends Schwarber back to Iowa to catch for a month. Then he likely becomes a September call up and has to compete for playing time with Montero and Ross (ugh!). So I really want to know; how much is not catching for the month of August going to stunt his growth? I'm not asking this in a sarcastic way. I don't know enough about developing catchers and Schwarber's place in that process to know if it's really a bad thing or not. I meant why would you want to replace Coghlan (who is doing ok) with Schwarber when your options at catcher are Ross/Teagarden?
  7. End this, I'm tired and have to be up in 7 hours
  8. Still have to face Frazier with ????? in the 10th

  14. fan interference But the fan missed it and it hit above the line first The fan did not miss it. He touched it. He didn't catch it though. It hit him in the chest above the line, then he tried grabbing it.
  15. fan interference But the fan missed it and it hit above the line first
  16. Yet another case where the replay officials in NYC should get to view the play without the bias of knowing the call on the field first
  17. Reds announcers think that a ball that lands over the yellow line but bounces off a fan back on to the field is a double. HUUUHHHHH?
