  1. enjoy this tweet [tweet] [/tweet] Maybe he just has "resting meh face"
  2. Haren does not appear happy to be here
  3. Eh, he's been kinda wild this inning and was laboring (well over 20 pitches at the point he hit him) plus he just threw a slider in the dirt Bryant offered at. Seemed like he was just coming back at him hard on the hands and missed the spot. Oh, I have no doubt that he's wild, as per usual, but he's also Garza, who is a notorious dick. Put the two together and voila. Be happy you can't see his terrible hair cut. Think KB's style on roids
  4. Has anyone argued that making the playoffs is in any way a bad thing for anyone?
  5. thats the one drawback of wrigley imo Problem with Miller Park is that it doesn't have enough parking to accommodate a full stadium (despite being located in the middle of nowhere)
  6. I'd have agreed with this more before Lester went beast mode his last start. He posted a 2.35 ERA in Oakland without Ross. Ross is a blankie, nothing more
  7. Money is an "issue," but not one that anyone has articulated into any specifics.
  8. Rookie seasons are a see saw of pitchers adjusting to you, you adjusting back, and so on. He can't adjust back in Iowa
  9. And now I have a snorkel tour ad at the bottom of the page
  10. But when Montero comes back, you need room in LF for Kyle
  11. MLB.TV just skipped from Hammel's AB to Russell's without showing what happened to Hammel
  12. Everyone should have 3 days off; it's the greatest thing in the world. No matter how busy your weekend is inevitably you almost always still have 1 day to just do whatever. It's the best stress-killer. 3 days off would be awesome, but 2 days off in a row is a must. I pity my co-workers who have stupid schedules like Monday and Thursday off. You can't do [expletive] with that schedule And getting off at 2pm on Thursday and not working again until Sunday is basically 2 1/2 days off
  13. and the MLB.TV feed has had zero issues. So odd. Both days must have been a TV network issue
  14. Who says I still work at Best Buy?
  15. a) Piss off, Chip Caray, you no-talent ass clown b) Those tiny, tiny bleachers
  16. You want me to send you some money on paypal so you can get mlb.tv? I have it; can't use it at work. I thought you were a fed now. Feds don't work at night. Whut. I work 4 noon-10:30 shifts. Sleep in, no traffic and the weekend +Monday off. It's glorious. I have the exact opposite schedule. Sunday-Thursday, 7am-2pm. No Fridays/Saturdays and all afternoon/night off. I wouldn't trade it for anything
  17. Mark Clark, Manny Alexander and Lance Johnson for Turk Wendell, Brian McRae and Mel Rojas
