Why is this confusing? They've been told outright by the selection committee that NOT having a championship game is counting against them, so why wouldn't they just artificially create a system to appease them?
For selfish reasons, I'm hoping for one rain out over the next couple of weeks. That would get me an Arrieta start when I'm at the game 6/18 instead of a Lester start (which wouldn't be a bad consolation prize)
