Because it's not a practice and kids need to learn that winning and losing is part of the game. Sure, but I could also see a string of 10-0 losses killing morale and turning some kids away from the sport

Scherzer has almost 25 more IP than any Cubs starter That's largely because he has 30 starts and most of the Cubs rotation has 28. Correct, my point being that IP is an awfully bad place to start when picking a CY winner

I can see that being the case. But I always come back to.....if not him, then who? They both said Scherzer because of the difference in innings and K's. Scherzer has almost 25 more IP than any Cubs starter
