    not to say anything of harper, but pretty much nothing is going to be potentially crippling to the cubs financially anywhere in the near or long term. Every team has its limits

    That length/AAV for a contract is potentially crippling if it goes bad. I don't think Harper is as much of a sure thing as Trout, and I'm not even sure he's a whole lot better than KB going forward

    Aren't you gonna get USC in the Rose Bowl? That's a pretty marquee game It is, but I think there's something to the idea of the two remaining champs playing each other. USC is a good game, but they have 3 losses and didn't even play in their title game

    I wish the auto tie-ins were looser and we could see Penn State play Oklahoma in a bowl game. I think seeing the two Power Five champs who didn't make the playoff would be a marquee game
