Roberts took a team that went 92-70 (.568 win pct) and has turned them into what is so far a 79-60 team (.568 win pct). Yay? You are very good at not paying attention to things and commenting on them, lol. I don't think it's because Roberts is doing a magnificent job, or anything, but the Dodgers have been very good despite a lot of major injuries (TT likes to point out that this should've been seen coming when the Dodgers decided to have 15 starters with health concerns). But then the criteria for the award becomes "did better than he should have due to X factors," which penalizes someone like Maddon because "well he had the best team on paper so whatever". It's a silly award whose criteria changes year to year
