  1. Worse FS1 show: Skip and Shannon, or Cowhwerd and Whitlock? What, Jay Mariotti wasn't available?
  2. I have Amazon gift cards. Trying to parse out the best options for swag there since none of it is officially licensed Kinda like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01MYLK8GS/ref=mp_s_a_1_44?ie=UTF8&qid=1482699697&sr=1-44&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=cubs+world+series+t+shirt&dpPl=1&dpID=41VRQuKYoTL&ref=plSrch
  3. Nothing, but I got gift cards so I'll pick something for myself
  4. If they identify a guy they like, dont mess around, take him at 3 (or 4). The general consensus seems to be that there are a clump of teams in the top 5-7 who will likely take QB's, and then a gap until the early 20's
  5. Kizer is a freak of nature who has actually produced at the collegiate level. He needs developing, but he'll be a star if done right. Any young QB will struggle without O-Line fixes. I'd like for a top five QB pick to stay in one piece
  6. If they draft either of those guys, I hope they will work out. I don't want to see the team return to QB purgatory any more than you do. But one guy is an injury risk and the other might be a project. We'll see
  7. None are a top five pick though ??? Myles Garrett is easily the best player in the draft. my bad. I meant the QB's
  8. None are a top five pick though
  9. I admittedly have watched almost no Bears football this year, but didn't they sign a bunch of defensive players this off season? Why are they so meh on defense?
  10. The Santa thread and the MFer thread are all anyone needs to read to get a full, accurate psychological profile of daBum
  11. Tis the season to be jolly....unless you're Ski and Da Bum and you won't let your kids believe in Santa Please to enjoy: http://www.northsidebaseball.com/archive/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=52269
  12. That was a thoroughly satisfying beat down of the Penguins. 11 in a row!
  13. Its a good move for the Tribe and its nice to see them investing money into an already good team. If EE can be a power threat in that lineup, they'll win a lot of games
  14. 60M for 3 No chump change, but he thought he was an $80M player this off season
  15. Really curious about the contract. EE thought his market was much better than what it turned out to be.
  16. I was a very loyal listener to B&B during my time in Chicago. Got a few emails read for various things (Who You Crappin', etc.) It's good to have that sort of show on Sports radio. We have one here in Columbus that is of the same design; doesn't take itself seriously, makes fun of the dumb people that need made fun of, but is still passionate about sports. Also, the main host is from Chicago (and is a Bears, White Sox, Bulls fan) so I get some of the Bears anger/disappointment through him.
  17. :(
  18. What exactly is his ailment? Have they ever said?
  19. Just saw the clip of his trip against Elon. What a wholly unlikable piece of horsefeathers.
  20. Guess that answers who one of the seven people who are watching that show is
  21. No matter what, only 41,000 people get to go to the game. You aren't creating anything to feed demand
  22. Or the STH could, you know, use the seats themselves
  23. There are about 41,300 seats at Wrigley Field. People were willing to pay $3,500 for crappy upper level seats to Game 1. The scarcity of tickets relative to the demand for them is what dictated those prices. I don't know what the actual number of fans who wanted to attend one of the games was. I'm guessing it was easily over a million, though. Regardless, it turns out that the evil scalpers may have provided a way for some of these fans to attend the first WS in 71 years who would otherwise be locked out. There would be 41,000 seats whether scalpera existed or not. What are you talking about?
