[expletive], I forgot he bizarrely tried to flip it and say people were making fun of him for being Baha'i instead of an idiot who doesn't understand cable, money, landlords, roommates, dressing himself and freezing food. i forgot that thread had the IBM joke I've read that entire thread a dozen times over the years, but there are still a few posts that make me laugh out loud every time

Is Fowler replaceable? Sure, of course. But not easily. Switch hitter, plus defender, high on-base guy, and when he gets on base, the Cubs record was off the charts. Almora could plug in, Heyward could move to center, etc., but the lineup would look different. Lineup construction doesn't matter blah blah blah, but I'm not sure who would be that guy at the top of the order next year

Weird scheduling this year. Going into the weekend, Calgary had played 12 games, and Columbus has played only 8. Most teams have played 10-11. Not sure why Columbus had an entire week off early in the season

I'm easily the happiest for Rizzo. Bryant, Russell, Contreras, plus the FA's didn't live through the lean years. Rizzo was on a 101 loss team. He was the start of the rebuild, and had to play through the "tanking" years. He deserves this more than anyone
