In all fairness Columbus has a pretty good arena. I was there for their first ever preseason and regular season games, which were against the Blackhawks. Sorry you live in Columbus, I hated living there. I don't hate it. It's a nice balance of the restaurants, sports and entertainment a city gives you, while being extremely affordable

What guarantee is there that Harper's next contract isn't a giant albatross? He's probably going to ask for a 10/$400M deal Harper is 6 weeks older than Baez. I know he's basically a fetus, but any 10 year deal has the potential be a disaster.

“When I played baseball” I can remember a decent number of times when home plate was slick due to some rain/humidity and slipping or seeing guys slip and sometimes fall when running through it in games or practices. Whatever the material is it can get pretty slippery when it gets wet. But.....you can make it out of something else......in this scenario that will never happen

Rondon is most likely coming back regardless. Last year we added an extra pitcher and dropped an offensive player going from the NLDS to the NLCS. I'd guess we saw Martin's last game in a Cubs uniform. Or they can drop Justin Wilson since Joe is only gonna use him in a total blowout. Did they ever use Happ or Avila?
