    This situation, GM fighting for his job on a team still "in the race" but with bullpen issues, just screams for a Garland/Karcher part II. shudder. Noel for Heredia was no better at the time, though Noel never panned out. But yes, "Former First Round Pick for crappy middle reliever" seems about right

    Sounds like Oprah to me. Beat me to it. Oprah is whatever the complete polar opposite of maniacal bitch is. she's one of the nicest people i've ever met and treats her employees better than just about any other person on earth

    i think Hendry is fighting for his job (as someone else said) and will likely leverage the future for a band aid to get us to the playoffs.

    Yes. I remember that from last year when Ball State got an automatic bid for winning the MAC tournament. well PSU is a few wins away from doing just that. Pretty remarkable unfortunately PSU resumed their suspended game against Minnesota today and were unable to hold onto the 1 run lead, losing by one in extras. Their season is done. yep, and a dismal first half doomed their shot at an at-large. still, a nice jump forward for the program that hopefully will continue next year

    silly. so i guess Lou can only use Ohman when his psychic or ouiji board tell him that the other manager isnt going to pinch hit. So the situation to use Ohman now is day games only, with 1 man on not in scoring position, lefty coming to the plate and the opposing manager wont let pinch hit for him. Good to have him available just in that case. :roll: people who keep typing "Ohman" should not be allowed to use the eyeroll
