  1. the hope is that matt capps is no sort of real closer
  2. gah, i was hoping he'd hose that one in RF
  3. wow, i should have stayed out at dinner longer
  4. how about with the Cubs? ;)
  5. in the remote chance that he would be traded, yes. More importantly, does he still have the range to play SS? He seems a lot bigger (and likely less mobile) since moving to 3B and a hurt hammy isn't going to help him transition back to SS. I think it would take an off-season for him to really work on getting back into the kind of shape needed to be an above average SS again. some say he's still a better SS than Jeter
  6. i'm sure it breaks their hearts to rank the Yankees so low
  7. Because? He's better at baseball. murton doesn't look like a stellar RF Pena doesn't either bet Pena's name is way funnier
  8. in the remote chance that he would be traded, yes.
  9. I confused that he didn't manage to work in that he was on deck for Aaron's record breaking HR
  10. I hope I don't get you confused with TysonCBulls1-422
  11. hooray for Pirates series! I actually get to watch all the games (on FSN Pittsburgh, but still). I'll be at the game tomorrow, and am happy to be seeing Lilly instead of Marquis
  12. maybe we can get him real cheap if we promise to let him go back and re-sign with the yankees next year
  13. Bandeon's "frequency" would likely lead to his demise in that scenario bitter much?
  14. real sprains suck. the term "sprain" gets thrown out a lot with ankles when the injury is really more of a twist or a strain. I sprained the top of my left foot back in '03 (entire foot turned black and blue, etc.) and it still hurts now and again (i can feel it right now, actually). ligament and tendon injuries suck bad
  15. jock for beltran and wright and reyes and a year 2000 era Pedro Martinez thanksomuch
  16. Bill Hall is out for Milwaukee, so we'll send them Jock for Cordero, Sheets and Braun
  17. my hopes for a Banedon vs. vance final stay intact
  18. every time i've checked in it has been tied: 39-39 41-41 43-43 now 45-45
  19. I get 1450, State College's ESPN radio
  20. the Pirates beat Milwaukee 3 out of 4 after we beat them 2 out of 3. Clearly the Brewers are hitting another cold streak. I bet Brewer fans are sweating it out right now. If that team had only gone 15-15 instead of 10-20 during May, they would be up by double digits right now
