  5. jim tracy has a semi-[expletive] baboon fill out his lineup card for him
  6. Mike Mussina got crushed in that game. GOOD
  7. Nope, it's for Glendon Rusch when he pitched well those first two seasons he pitched with the Cubs. Don't think I'm going to change it either. too bad....was hoping the word filter got you He's been Rusch33 for a couple years now. no one gets my joke, that's cool People got it. It just wasn't that funny. um, your mom's not funny? /got nuthin
  8. their "easy games against TB" will result in going like 1-3 against them

  11. off topic, but I wonder if Rusch33's screen name was really supposed to be something else....
  12. is there a certificate of authenticity? cuz all his balls are marked, and it could have been a foul ball from any park that he has played in the past few months
  13. So their fans can come at 8:30 and only miss 2 innings fixed
  14. i'm suddenly filled with the urge to sign up for that site and rub it in
  15. Not even worth responding to. EDIT: Actually, I'll respond. The player is going to be someone who's not on the 40 man. So, that rules out Duke. Although, the way Duke has pitched this season... my buddy in Pittsburgh just IM'ed me and said the rumor is on the radio there too. Just because you don't want it to happen, Jake, doesn't mean it won't. Face up that you have one of the worst GM's in baseball history
  16. the players only have a Ken Caminiti-like future to look forward to, so I hope it was worth it for them
  17. Regression to the mean. He's far, far more likely to produce in the second half at the level he's produced at over his previous 4000 at bats than he is to produce at his level of production over his last 200. if only baseball were hard and fast as statistics would like you to believe btw, his second half OPS is only 30 points higher than his 1st half over his career
  18. his .647 OPS vs. righties THIS YEAR is why he's not a great option
  19. This is true. In 2004, when the Diamondback were absolutely awful, they still owned the Cubs. And I believe in 2003 we had trouble beating them.. which is relevant, as the rosters are exactly the same now as they were then
  20. the same proof that Neifi, Macias or Koyie Hill aren't You might want to re-think that one. :D he was on amphetamines, not roids, right?
  21. the same proof that Neifi, Macias or Koyie Hill aren't
  22. i had no doubt that Lilly could win 10 games this year, just didn't know it would be this early in the season.
  23. longer than he hit .210 in Chicago Random sample fluctations don't alone explain this difference. Obviously, they have something to do with it. But Pie now has a demonstrated trend of struggling at new level before mastering it. and i'd have more patience for letting him struggle through his major league at-bats if we weren't in a division race with an automatic out at catcher and pitcher already
  24. longer than he hit .210 in Chicago
