    It's not exactly a rare chance for FIU. Here are their major conference teams they play this year: At Penn State Maryland At Miami At Kansas At Arkansas They also played at Miami, at Alabama, and at Maryland last year. It's actually quite sad. FIU is trying to build their football program, but their AD appears more willing to want the money from these big schools instead of trying to find competitive games for his team. Every small school is going to have a game or two against a big school that they don't have a chance in, but FIU takes it way too far. hey, who cares if the kids go 0-11 every year so long as the athletic dept. is getting $250,000 per school to go play there?

    yeah, i was a little disappointed in the booing. i generally don't boo at most sporting events (unless the other team is a big rival or something). i mean, how classy is it for, say, 100,000+ people at a Penn State game to boo the visiting school's MARCHING BAND? lame

    i feel sorry for the poor FIU kids this Saturday. they're pretty much guaranteed to get wiped all over the field. on the other hand, it's probably one of their only opportunities to walk onto a field surrounded by 110,000 screaming fans

    whenever phpbb decides to go gold on the release. I know little about phpbb so this will sound like a stupid question to you; but if you can test it and it works why do we have to wait for gold. because the pre-gold releases are still being fixed for bugs, etc. and don't have all the features "turned on" yet

    i'm guessing it's gonna be harder to score tickets to next week's game hotels are so full that people are renting rooms in their houses for $1500+ for the Notre Dame weekend

    i find it telling that all of the finalists are from Illinois (or very close to Chicago). Finalists picked because they would be the cheapest to bring in for the finals?

    my dad scored a pair of free tickets for the PSU game from some vendor or whatever at work, so we're on our way on Saturday
