    that's what I'm trying to figure out here. if 20 hypothetical players are worse, I would expect around 20 hypothetical players to be better and the other 160 hypothetical players to be pretty damn close to where they always are If 20 are worse, why even assume 20 are better? That makes absolutely no sense. If a certain subset of players is performing worse, it is a mathematical certainty that someone is performing better. And yes, collectively, the 180 players would be performing better. if you mean better than the 20 worst players, then I agree I mean that if the 20 "anti-clutch" players are collectively performing worse in high leverage situations than their otherwise expected performance, the other 180 players collectively are performing better in high leverage sitatuions than their otherwise expected performance. or 160 are performing and 20 others are performing higher. or 179 are performing the same and 1 is hitting 1.000 or whatever. baseball doesn't work this way

    I think DirecTV has 3, but I haven't checked the listings yet. Since there isn't any "regional" coverage with DirecTV, I imagine it will be on the guide here says (11 central): 610 - Youngstown State @ Ohio State 617 - Coastal Carolina @ Penn State 618 - Maine @ Iowa 620 - Western Kentucky @ Indiana 623 - Akron @ Wisconsin all are in HD on the -1 w00t! I talked to my dad and he says, "so, you think I can go up to the stadium and get a ticket to the PSU game for $20" and I told him to hold out for less. (face value is like $50)

    If the Cubs go to the WS, I'm skipping classes and work for a week no matter the consequences. If the Cubs go to the WS, I am skipping classes, taking off work and flying 1200 miles just to stand outside Wrigley so I can feel closer to it. Yep. If the WS is on the north side this year, I'll be standing out on Waveland for the games. Definitely. I'll basically camp down there for the series. You and about a million other people

    Isn't Cuban from Pittsburgh? 2 + 2 = 6 Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply that Cuban was/wasn't the buyer. I think they're representing Zell, or are just a 3rd party between Zell and whomever the buyer is. Either way, my friend has his 3rd year of Law School to finish and won't start until October 2009, so he won't be involved. The good news (for me) is that his firm has skyboxes at both PNC and Heinz Field and he promises to bring me to many many games
