    More than an hour away, right? Not that late. We normally get them in exactly 1 hour before the game. And right now its a good 1 hours and 10 minutes plus remaining. my mistake. i was thinking 2 hours

    I like seeing them show-up and reading the stories, but the minute-by-minute updates of practice, and fan reaction to practice, is a bit much. It would be impossible not to follow it at all until September though. i'll take nightly updates or newspaper snippets. That said, I don't even watch pre-season NFL games. They are the most boring thing in sports

    this is why i don't bother following the NFL until September. I don't have the constitution to hang on every update from day one of training camp

    I beg to differ. Roy is definately worth 5-7 players HANDS DOWN. is Roy better than Rich Harden, who only cost 4 players (and Chad Gaudin came in the same deal?) Think about it dude

    i'd argue that NSBB'ers actually undervalue the Cubs prospects (as illustrated by the number of trade proposals made that include us sending 7 players for one mediocre veteran)

    Howry gives up hits but doesn't walk people. Wuertz walks too many. So do you want the guy with the 1.38 WHIP or the 1.45 WHIP? Either one is a lousy option

    If the tying run is on deck than it is a save situation. So bases loaded with a 5 run lead is would be a save situation but you can't pitch yourself into a save situation
