How do you make this argument when the team that's going instead of them is one they beat head to head on a neutral field? Because the season consists of 12 games, not 1. Over those 12 games, Oklahoma has been the better team. Re-read my 1st post on this page. I accounted for the whole season. And Derwood, TTU is out of the equation because the got beat by 44 by OU. They aren't in the discussion anymore. It's pretty obvious they aren't as good as either OU or UT. except that part where they beat Texas

Did it accomplish anything last time they did it? I think their will be a lot more anger this time around considering the # of schools involved. The only saving grace the BCS has this season is if Bama wins out. Assuming that doesn't happen the Champion will have one loss along with potentially 4-5 other schools, and currently 3 other undefeated teams. This number will drop a little bit, but it could involve almost every major conference this time around and a couple of minor ones too. A current +1 fix is not very difficult to accomplish keeping all the bowls the way they are, and even using the current BCS system. you'd have to find a place for the two teams in the current BCS Title Game, since that wouldn't be the title game anymore. In other words, another bowl game would have to be created, or two fewer teams would make bowl games under a +1 system. also, they'll bitch day and night about travel/media issues when you don't know what teams are playing until a week out. Yes, this happens in other sprots all the time, but it'll still come up

I don't care if Texas didn't win their conference, they absolutely would belong there ahead of USC. Why USC ahead of Penn State? USC is better. when has that ever been a factor? :wink:
