That's not too atypical. SEC opponents in opening week: NC State Miami (OH) Western Kentucky Oklahoma State Jackson State Louisiana Tech Missouri State Charleston Southern Western Carolina Virginia Tech Washington Memphis at least that's a higher # of BCS schools
An overall embarrassing slate of opening games for the Big 10 The opponents: E. Kentucky Montana St. Towson Navy Syracuse Akron Toledo N. Iowa W. Michigan Missouri N. Illinois
You do, technically. I woke up early and was bored. Feel free to start one and this can be locked/merged. Failing that, you're up tomorrow regardless the outcome of this game. so you're just a bastard is what you're saying
What site can I use to find the league averages in stuff like OBP, SLG, WHIP, ERA, etc.? I know where to get all the individual stats, but I'm looking for league (or MLB) overall averages to weigh individual players against.
I has partial season tickets to the Spikes first season, and 3 or 4 of the guys in that first draft class have already logged MLB playing time (Brendan Ryan, PJ Walters, Jason Motte....)
Would you really be furious we didn't give a guy with zero velocity a chance? There are plenty of guys out there who are effective than throw 88mph. Not to mention how bad our bullpen is. I think the guy has enough upside that he at least deserves a chance to suck. There's 32 teams. Name three effective closers that top out at 88mph. I'll get you started - Hoffman. okay - only two more! actually there's only 30 teams. I know....details, details
Then Im going on record as saying that Aaron Miles hits 3 home runs, 2 doubles, 4 triples, and 15 RBI vs. the Rockies, and Jeff Samardzjia pitches a perfect inning. Oh come on.....Shark could NEVER pitch a perfect inning
First time PSU has been pre-ranked in the Top 10 in awhile. I'm accustomed to them being pre-ranked in the high 20's pretty much every year. I wonder if their ranking is due to an overall down year in CFB. They lost quite a few people (Their top 3 WR's and a good chunk of the O-Line). Guess we'll see.
