    You are right, but do you think the Bulls are a better team with Salmons as shooting guard? Salmons is starting this year as cold as he was hot at the end of last year. He needs to get his shooting touch back

    This is probably true but Rose not being 100% certainly isn't helping things and the defense has looked pretty good thus far. I would like to have someone that I had more faith in from the outside, especially with Rose's ability to drive to the hoop. like it or not, the offense is missing Ben Gordon right now

    Anyone who makes a big deal about anyone getting caught with weed deserves scorn, regardless of the race of the person that got caught. If you are making a big deal about the weed alone, I agree, but if getting caught puts that person's availability in peril somehow whether it be by league suspension or jail, or especially if the weed was being used before or during driving, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with laying on the criticism. my point was that the initial poster's attitude was "oh, that wacky Lincecum and his pot", where there are plenty of other players who would not be let off so easily in the same situation

    One caller said Pryor was "an amazing football player from the waist down". The guy should be a WR who sometimes lines up in the Wildcat. He should not be the leader of your offense. If you take away his running game (and he's the team's leading rusher, BTW), and force him to throw, he's toast.

    I happened to be listening to Columbus sports radio yesterday afternoon and the subject of "do you regret the fact that OSU landed Terrelle Pryor" is already coming up (2/3 of the way through his sophomore year).

    what's amazing is that the numbers can't touch ratings from the pre-cable era. The 1975 World Series (Reds vs. Red Sox) averaged 76 million viewers What's amazing about that? Most people didn't have cable then. There was far less to watch. It just marks the difference in eras. There is nothing that will approach that kind of viewership again.
