Seriously, does anybody know any teams that is so desperate that they could use Marquis? I doubt we could get value from him, but if a team would be willing to eat some of his contract, we definitely should make a deal.

No, I hate him because we don't need to pick up any guys who were good five years ago. Especially at the expense of our top prospect. I agree, I'm not that big of a fan of it either, I just can't tell how much personal bias is involved in not wanting to sign him If Edmonds becomes a quality addition, I won't forgive his Cardinal sins (ha ha), but I'll accept him as a good player.

is this news? i hope he looks terrible but the padres dont score, it would be the best of both worlds A bunch of innings like this one would be nice. A couple base runners, but good defensive plays to keep it scoreless.
