Nice DP to end the inning. I think Gallagher's done, as he has 91 pitches already and the #9 spot is batting if we get a hit. Woohoo 200 posts!

Howry is. BTW, I just got home, and I see Sean Gallagher has pitches 5 shutout innings with 2 BBs and 3 Ks. Has he been good today, or are the numbers lieing?

First game on WGN in a while. Hopefully Gallagher dominates, so he secures a rotation spot. We then need Hill to get it done in Iowa, and we may then be able kick out atleast some of the former Cardinal scum :D .

Marmol is sick. He's so great as a reliever, but what if we turned him back to a starter? We'd lose a key piece of our bullpen, but would get a good starter.

Not to mention only 8 baserunners in 6 innings of work, along with only 1 extra base hit given up, and that was a double. We call that "pulling a Clement" Is he still in baseball? I haven't seen him around in at least 3 years I believe he's with the Cards, but is injured. Last time he played was in 06, with Boston.
