Well, to reflect on Dempster's start, it's what we expected he'd be like at the beginning of the year. We expected back in March to usually pitch about 6 innings 4 runs, and that we'd win something like 1/2 his starts. We win this game 1/2 the time. Let's hope today is part of that 1/2.

I totally agree with giving him tommorow off instead of giving him today off. But, lets say he goes 4-5 or 5-5 today than do you still give him a day off? I doubt it. Lee was decent yesterday, and if he does good again, he'll likely have busted the slump. One off-day will probably be sufficient rest, but two may cause him to start struggling again.

I really hope he succeds with the Cubs, but, ugh... It'll take a while to get over his STL days. That catch eased the process a bit.
