  1. Thats pretty cool. Ill do that when I have some more time. I take it there will be one for pitchers as well?
  2. because most people that go to football games are crazy and most people that go to baseball games are civilized
  3. freakin alien eyes
  4. These Blues announcers suck. And that shoulda been a penalty.
  5. this started off great but is starting to get lame. time for the refs to get in and separate em. well done on all ends.
  6. Phillips was the AD at NIU when we played them at Soldier Field, so I could definitely see something happening. I can't imagine that happening in the near future. We may very well draw more purple in Evanston than at Soldier Field. We last played in the old Soldier Field in 1997 against Oklahoma. We had 5 sellouts between the 1995 and 1996 seasons, yet only drew just over 35,000 at Soldier Field to open the 1997 season. And playing at Soldier Field wouldn't really be that special. Nowhere close to Wrigley Field. NIU did it to draw more Chicago-area media attention and it worked. The benefits wouldn't come that close to outweighing the costs for Northwestern. Personally, playing at Soldier Field would be much more of a hassle and inconvenience than anything else. The idea for Wrigley started before Phillips came in, though. There isn't any indication that he'd consider Soldier Field. I agree, I was talking about Wrigley as well. 75% of Iowa fans are Cubs fans as well and would love to see it.
  7. How is Arizona State so good all of a sudden?

  9. http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/photo/2009-01/44565215.jpg is that Gathright? Looks like he just realized he is woefully underdressed.
  10. I think you answered your question within said question.
  11. haven't even barely got the puck inside yet.
  12. there aren't even any low profile jobs open.
  13. I am going to keep track of all the pointless double-switches Lou makes this year. You know, the ones where he decides to double switch even though he isn't going to use the pitcher more than the end of that inning. I fully expect to lose count by June.
  14. wasn't this the guy TheBestFansInBaseballTM gave 3 standing O's in one game?
  15. dominant
  16. I do not understand how any college athletic department or coach could be upset with a likely 1st round pick forgoing his 5th year of eligibility for the draft. There's got to be something to it. No idea what, but something.
  17. Ok.... show me where the 6 minutes came from and how there was no offsetting penalties... are you kidding? They both had their gloves off... should have been offsetting fighting and then crosschecking from Eager... 2:00 PP. Just saw the replay finally and it looked like a pretty obvious charge. He came from halfway across the ice after the whistle.
  18. i didnt have a problem with it.
  19. Won't see a better kill than that one.
  20. He is..... not good. Neither is anyone else in the OVC. It's a mediocre I-AA, excuse me, FCS conference. Bout all I can give you is that he is good at taking lots of sacks without getting injured and not throwing picks (both are related).
  21. He is..... not good.
