Truf may be over the top with the N Dakota stuff, but let's get serious. Iowa is one of the most underrated states in the union. ehhh...only the eastern side, maybe.
oh yeah. especially when we are in them :) http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=schlabach_mark&id=3818270 13? I don't know about that. I really hope we aren't picked to be really good next year, we always suck when that happens. Im not sure 1 is a big enough sample size for that.
 Questioning his choice? Yeah, he isn't even the best back on his own team and he can't stay healthy. I can't see him doing anything in the NFL at all. Maybe at full back? I don't get it.
So, you are taunting about getting carried away about the results of one or two games, with your reasoning being the results of half of one game. I seem to remember something about pots and kettles. You dont read very well do you?
Agreed. At least when it comes to being cool. And just being all around sick. I still can't get over this. Sorry Iowa fans.
Thanks. I had blocked out that entire season post-Christmas. Ranked top 5 preseason by some and mostly stayed in top 10 in the non-conference. Favorites to win the Big Ten. Lost to Mizzou in Guardian's Classic (only to beat them by 20 later at Mizzou), Duke and at UNI which prompted Alford to throw away their pizza after the game and make them ride back to Iowa City hungry. Sitting at like 13-3 and after stomping Wisconsin at home my only concern walking out of Carver was whether we would be able to win the Big Ten and grab a 1 or 2 seed. We then went 4-11 in the rest of the Big Ten as the team imploded and quit. I'm pretty sure this is the season that killed any excitement for basketball in the state of Iowa. You would be correct. That and Pierce the next year.
Looks like our boy Stevie is losing his hair. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3108/3166025093_04ef515b65.jpg Either that or a bird landed in it before the game.
