If that is the case and we go with a 12 man pitching staff and all our pitchers are healthy and not traded, what is the bullpen? Wood Marmol Howry Eyre Marshall Wuertz Gaudin Would we possibly keep Lilly off of the staff for the playoffs?

    Jerry Narron to be specific. The Narron family (of which there are several other members involved in baseball at some level) and Hamilton are both from North Carolina, and Hamilton already had some contact with the Narrons (although I'm not sure about Jerry specifically).Johnny Narron was Hamilton's youth league basketball coach. He is the one that went to Texas with him, I believe.

    so basically carlos marmol's terrible stretch has been the equivalent of your $10M closer's entire season. Terrible stretch? Its been almost 2 months I think its a little more then a terrible stretch.... 5 bad outings in 2 months. Yes, ERA is a terrible way to measure a reliever's effectiveness. 5 lol? May 17th May 25th June 2nd June 19th June 21st July 2nd July 3rd July 9th July 12th Im not trying to hate on Marmol but to say he has only been bad a couple times over the last 2 months is a lie. you know who else is bad? Ryleigh on the pole.

I'd say 5-1 is a little high, because most of the games are in Brew town, but RedFlash is right, the Cubs are a better team than the 2 previous series'. agreed 5-1 at a minimum is way too extreme.
