  1. When I am there this weekend, I am getting Harden or Ramirez. cant decide which one though
  2. do you guys have to get rid of three players on the 25 even though you traded one of them away?
  3. Hes not caving to anything. He is just going to reinstate Favre and giving control over his future to the Packers. He could have reinstated him today or tomorrow but he is giving the Packers an extra day
  4. Im thinking Twins/Rays Angels/Red Sox
  5. oh andy, what was kevin white like?
  6. Not working for me either. Damn. you guys suck at using the interwebs. the tubes must be broken
  7. Oh yeah its very close this season. I agree with that, I was just saying when you said you thought Dunn was better than Manny at 29. Now though its much closer, but still Manny is dominant even at 36 no i said at this point in their careers, who is a better hitter? which means, who is a better hitter right now
  8. Dunn OPS+ 138 Manny OPS+ 142 They have basically the same value at the plate Dunn has the advantage in EQA and Manny has the OPS advantage
  9. no This year Dunn's OPS: .931 Manny's OPS: .932 It's pretty close now see if you can find a stat that adjusts for league and park factors and compare again. sure, it's close, but Manny's still better. EQA adjusted for season Manny .307 Dunn .314 Is that adjusted for league and park factors?
  10. no This year Dunn's OPS: .931 Manny's OPS: .932 It's pretty close
  11. This is what I was referring to. I meant the Manny at age 29 were better than Dunn's but that doesnt matter for the cubs. Is Adam Dunn, at age 28 or whatever, a better hitter than Manny Ramirez, at age 36? thats what matters in this discussion
  12. Wouldnt Dunn be about as good of a hitter as Manny at this point in their careers anyways?
  13. The fact that they haven't really looked at long-term answers leads me to believe they haven't given up on Pie completely yet. If they got a long-term guy, they'd have to give up on Felix. You could use Pie to keep the other player cost down though. Definitely. I'm not sure I've seen an outfielder I'm willing to give Pie up for, though. Definitely not DeJesus. Maybe McLouth - though would Pittsburgh give him to us without absolutely scalping us? we can just call McLouth up
  14. Does anybody have video and audio of Wood's home run in the 2003 playoffs? thanks in advance Aramis Fan
  15. and he has one with Soto and somebody else now too
  16. Be careful, it's pretty windy out on that limb. the Braves are 7.5 games back with 3 very good teams ahead of them. Hudsons done for the season, Chippers back to the DL, and now Tex is gone. I think its pretty safe to say they're done. woosh
